Amaretto White Hot Chocolate
Brrr it’s cold outside! When it’s like this, most people like to make hot chocolate but for me, I love making white hot chocolate. When I make white hot chocolate, it always comes out so rich and velvety. It is perfect for cozying up with by the fire.
Amaretto White Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
Serves 4
3 cups milk
1 cup half and half (you could also use heavy cream for a richer taste)
6-12 oz of good quality white chocolate (I used 12 oz of White Chocolate Ghirardelli Premium Baking Bar, I wanted a strong white chocolate taste, but for a milder taste feel free to use less chocolate)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup of Amaretto Liquor.
Directions
1. Place all ingredients except Amaretto Liquor in a medium saucepan.
2. Whisk continuously over medium-low heat, until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth.
3. Do not boil.
4. Add Amaretto, and remove from heat.
5. Serve.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain

American cuisine reflects the history of the United States, blending the culinary contributions of various groups of people from around the world, including indigenous American Indians, African Americans, Asians, Europeans, Pacific Islanders, and South Americans. Early Native Americans utilized a number of cooking methods in early American Cuisine that have been blended with early European cooking methods to form the basis of American cuisine. The European settlement of the Americas yielded the introduction of a number of various ingredients, spices, herbs, and cooking styles to the latter. The various styles continued expanding well into the 19th and 20th centuries, proportional to the influx of immigrants from many different nations; this influx nurtured a rich diversity in food preparation throughout the country.
When the colonists came to the colonies, they farmed animals for clothing and meat in a similar fashion to what they had done in Europe. They had cuisine similar to their previous Dutch and British cuisines. The American colonial diet varied depending on the settled region in which someone lived. Commonly hunted game included deer, bear, buffalo, and wild turkey. A number of fats and oils made from animals served to cook much of the colonial foods. Prior to the Revolution, New Englanders consumed large quantities of rum and beer, as maritime trade provided them relatively easy access to the goods needed to produce these items: rum was the distilled spirit of choice, as the main ingredient, molasses, was readily available from trade with the West Indies. In comparison to the northern colonies, the southern colonies were quite diverse in their agricultural diet.
During the 18th and 19th centuries, Americans developed many new foods. During the Progressive Era of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, c. 1890s–1920s, food production and presentation became more industrialized. One characteristic of American cooking is the fusion of multiple ethnic or regional approaches into completely new cooking styles. A wave of celebrity chefs began with Julia Child and Graham Kerr in the 1970s, with many more following after the rise of cable channels, such as the Food Network and Cooking Channel, in the late 20th century.
How to Make Cookies in the Air Fryer | Air-Fried Cookies Recipe | We Tried It
Did you know that you can bake cookies in your air fryer? After a little bit of experimentation, Nicole impressed us with the results. With just some store-bought refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough and an air fryer, you can get a nice crispy, golden outside and chewy, gooey center, all without the long pre-heat time.
Get the recipe:
Ingredients
2 ounces refrigerated cookie dough (about 3 cookies) (such as Pillsbury)
How to Make It
Step 1
Preheat air-fryer on 350°F for 1 minute.
Step 2
Place parchment paper on bottom of air fryer basket, and set 3 cookie dough portions on parchment paper, leaving space between each one.
Step 3
Cook 8 1/2 minutes, rotating parchment paper with cookies half way around after 4 minutes. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.

Coconut Chocolate Chip Easter Cookie Cake
Serves 8
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup candy-coated chocolate Easter candies
¾ cup shredded unsweetened coconut
1/2 chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
Directions
1. Preheat Air Fryer to 350 degrees F. Grease two glass or metal pans that will fit in your Air Fryer.
2. Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Mix in baking soda, salt, and flour.
3. Stir in Easter candies, coconut, and chocolate chips or chocolate chunks.
4. Press cookie dough into the bottom of greased pan. One at a time, bake 10-12 minutes until lightly browned around the edges.
5. Serve warm.
