How To make Adrak (Ginger Stock)
Ingredients

tablespoons
ginger, fresh grated
4
cups
stock, or water
3/4
teaspoon
salt
1
tablespoon
cumin seeds, toasted
1/2
teaspoon
black pepper
1
whole
lemon, juice of
1
cilantro, fresh chopped
Directions:
Put grated ginger and stock into a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer 30 minutes uncovered until the water has reduced by half. Add the salt, cumin and pepper. Simmer for another 2 minutes. Squeeze in lemon juice and garnish with coriander.
Excellent as a cold remedy and as a starter to an Indian meal.

If you have Ginger garlic paste handy day to day cooking becomes easier. You can add this paste in any sabzi or in any recipe. Let’s see this quick and easy recipe. Do not forget to like, comment, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup Garlic cloves
• 1/3 cup Ginger pieces
Method:
• Take garlic and peel it. Chop garlic and add it into a blender jar.
• Take ginger, peel it and chop it into pieces. Add ginger into
blender jar.
• Blend ginger and garlic into fine paste without adding any water.
Do not use water at all.
• Blend for a few seconds and then open the lid.
• With the help of butter knife or spoon push the mixture at the
center of the jar and blend again.
• Repeat this procedure until ginger and garlic is blended into fine
paste.
• Take a vacuum seal glass jar and transfer the paste into it.
• Store this jar in the coldest area of the freeze.
• Ginger garlic paste lasts for 1-1 1/2 months if stored in the
coldest areas of the freeze.
Tips:
• Use fresh ingredients for making paste. If you use longer stored
ingredients, the paste may get spoilt earlier.
• Do not use any water while blending. If you use water while
blending, the paste becomes thinner and it may go bad earlier.
• If you can’t get fresh ingredients for making paste, then blend
ginger garlic into fine paste. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tso oil. Blend
again and store in a container.
• Always store the jar of ginger garlic paste in the coldest area of
the freeze.
