Flatbread with White Bean Purée, Mushrooms, Kale, and Sausage
Recipe at:
This flatbread is both decadent and packed with nutrition. The whole wheat crust is topped with kale, oyster mushrooms, and white beans. In place of heavy alfredo sauce, Chef Scott prepares a creamy white bean puree as the base sauce on this flatbread. The flatbread could easily be prepared vegetarian by omitting the wild boar sausage.

Crispy Corn & Bean Bread Dumplings
So, are you up for the challenge to create a full recipe only using ingredients from our “Indigenize Your Pantry” Gift Box?
Okay, challenge accepted! Crispy Corn and Bean Bread Dumplings Recipe by Ana
This dish comes together similarly to falafel, and it can be eaten in so many different ways: with your favorite dipping sauce, on a salad, or wrapped in a tortilla. If you are not a fan of falafel, you MUST try this completely Indigenous recipe! This tasty dish is high in fiber and protein and very tasty!
1 ½ cup cooked pinto beans
1 ½ cup cooked yellow corn
2 TB warrior blend seasoning
Salt to taste
¾ cup Seka Hills Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Preheat oven to 350F. Put everything together in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and sticky. There will be some chunks left from the corn, but do not worry about it, as it gives it a nice texture. Form about 10 to 12 corn and bean balls and bake in the oven for about 25 minutes. They will be crispy on the outside, but soft and moist on the inside. Enjoy!
