APPLE CRISP IN A JAR RECIPE|EASY FALL DESSERT
Hi everyone! I had some inquiries from my last video about how I made my apple crisp in a jar and the recipe. So I thought I would share it with you! These are perfect for individual servings would be great for parties or family get togethers!
Recipe makes 4 8 oz mason jars of apple crisp/ Use 4oz mason jars and 3 more apples to make for a larger crowd.
3 Large apples of your choice 1/2 Lemon Topping: 3/4 Cup Flour 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar 3/4 Cup Quick Cooking Oats 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 1/4 Nutmeg 1/4 Salt 1/2 Cup Butter
Pre-heat oven to 350F. Combine topping ingredients except butter and mix together. Then cut in butter with a pastry cutter or use you hands till you get a crumbly texture. Peel, core and slice apples and place in bowl. Squeeze half a lemon onto apples to keep from browning. If using the 8oz mason jars add a layer of apples then crumb topping then apples then crumb topping. If using 4oz mason jars just add apples then top off with crumb topping. Bake for 20mins. May need to reduce time for the 4oz mason jars. Top with homemade whip cream or vanilla cream! Enjoy!
