How To make Asian Pesto
1 c Oil
1/2 c Peanuts
2 sm Green chile peppers,
-- seeded 1 tb Ginger, chopped
4 ea Garlic cloves
1 1/2 c Basil leaves
1/4 c Mint leaves
1/4 c Cilantro leaves
3 tb Lemon juice
1 1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Sugar
Heat oil in a small skillet until nearly smoking, then remove from the heat and add the peanuts. Allow to sit until lightly browned. Remove the nuts with a slotted spoon and drain, reserving the oil. Put the peanuts in a food processor or blender and blend to a rough paste. Add the chilies, ginger and garlic and continue to blend, Add the herbs and a little of the reserved oil, and continue to blend. Add the salt, sugar and lemon juice, and blend until the herbs are very finely minced. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and stir in the remaining oil. Serve along side warm or cold noodles, and allow each eater to spoon sauce to taste over a helping of noodles.

How to cook TUNA PESTO PASTA using Clara Olé
Ingredients:
3-4 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 white onion (minced)
400 grams spaghetti pasta
Clara Olé Pasta Sauce
2 Century Tuna (1 hot n spicy, 1 flakes in vegetable oil)
165 grams Magnolia Quick melt cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure:
1. Boil water in a pot. Put some oil and salt. Cook pasta for 10 minutes. ( or according to package directions)
2. Drain and set aside.
3. Heat olive oil. Sauté garlic and onion for 3 minutes.
4. Add tuna and a bit of its oil. Stir often.
5. Pour the cheesy pesto sauce. Mix well.
6. Add the cheese, stir until melted.
7. Add some salt and pepper to taste.
8. Add the remaining oil from tuna.
9. Put the pasta and mix well.
10. Remove from the heat.
Asian Pesto
In cases where I have far too many #herbs, it becomes #pesto and #salsaverde season — and I’m not complaining! I’ve recently experimented with a bunch of Asian herbs and it worked really well.

Such a versatile dip/sauce you can enjoy in a stir fry or with eggs or even as a chip & dip???? Fresh, herb-y and packed with flavour, here’s how you can make this Asian pesto:
1 cup basil
1 cup coriander
1/4th cup roasted peanuts
2 cloves of garlic - chopped
1/4th cup neutral oil
1/2th teaspoon chilli flakes
Salt & pepper to taste
1/4th stalk of lemongrass- chopped
Juice of 1 lime
1 teaspoon soy sauce
Pinch of sugar
Process:
• Start by blanching the herbs, add them to a pot of boiling water, shock them in an ice bath, set it aside (blanching keeps the pesto super bright & green)
• Blend the peanuts with the chopped lemongrass, garlic, soy sauce, lime juice, chilli flakes, salt, sugar & pepper
• Squeeze the herbs well and add them to the blender along with the olive oil & blend
• Adjust the lime & salt and blend one last time
• You can blend till it is smooth or a bit coarse
• Enjoy the pesto or store it by covering the surface with plastic wrap and wrapping the whole thing in foil. This ensures it stays green longer!
