How To make Basic Oatburger
4 1/2 c Water
1/3 c Oil OR
1 Large onion, diced
1/4 c Italian seasoning
1/2 c Soy sauce
1/2 c Nuts, ground
1 t Garlic salt
1/4 c Flaked
nutriti nal yeast Bring all ingredients to a boil. Turn down heat and add 4 1/2 c. rolled oats. Do not stir. Cook about five minutes. Then set aside to cool. Form patties with oiled mason jar lid. Place on oiled cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, turning every 15 minutes. Serve with ketchup or gravy. Makes about 20 ~25 medium sized burgers. Chickpea burger Ingredients:
-400 grams (14 oz) cooked chickpeas
-1 onion
-1 garlic
-1/4 cup (60ml) plant based milk
-¼ cup (30 grams) chickpea flour
-1/3 cup (50 grams) bread crumbs
-1/2 tsp of salt
-1/2 tsp of cumin
-black pepper
-a handful of spinach
-olive oil

Today we are making a fabulous plant-based burger that will be perfect for any occasion but is incredibly wonderful this time of year. These can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge or freezer, ready to go when you are.
We love these mushroom oat burgers; tender and delicious, perfect for summer, and just in time for memorial day weekend—a great way to start the summer season.

Yummy burgers for sandwiches or main dish. Quick and easy to make. Vegetarian/vegan
Super Easy Oat Burger | Clean. Vegan. Protein
SUPER EASY, SIMPLE & DELICIOUS
In this video, I doubled the recipe, which make 24 burgers. It freezes great (meal prep and planning). And if you add mushrooms, definitely freeze it so it last longer.
Oat Patties
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. water
1/3 c. ground flaxseeds
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 c. walnuts, lightly toasted
3 c. quick oats
2 Tbsp. broth concentrate
1 8-oz. package baby portobello mushrooms, chopped, optional
2 – 4 Tbsp. oil, as needed
Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk water and ground flaxseeds together. Set aside.
Combine onion and toasted walnuts in a food processer and pulse until finely chopped.
Add oats, seasonings (broth) and flaxseed mixture, and pulse until smooth. Stir in mushrooms.
Using 1/4 cup of batter, shape into patties and fry in a lightly oiled skillet until browned. Or bake. As soon as it turns brown...about 15 minutes but no more than 20. Then let it set and cool.
