How To make Bee Sting(Bienenstich)
CAKE:
3 c Flour
1 pk Active Dry Yeast
2/3 c Milk
1/3 c Sugar
6 tb Butter OR Margarine
1 Egg
TOPPONG:
1 c Sugar
9 tb Butter OR Margarine
1 1/4 c Almonds (sliced)
2 tb Milk
:
FILLING 1 1/2 c Milk
1 pk Vanilla Pudding :
(3 5/8 oz)
Place flour in a large bowl. Add yeast and sugar. Scald milk, stir in butter or margarine and cool to lukewarm. Pour over flour, add the egg and beat until smooth. Cover and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size. Punch down dough and roll into a 10" round. Place in a 10" X 3" springform pan. Cover and let it rise again in a warm place until it doubles in size. Once the cake has doubled, place sugar, butter or margarine and almonds in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat approximately five minutes until butter and sugar have melted. Take if off the heat, add two tablespoons milk and cool to lukewarm. Spread over the top of the cake and bake in a preheated oven at 375!~F for 30 minutes. Loosen the edge with a knife, take the cake out of the pan and cool. Prepare pudding according to the package's directions using 1 1/2 cup milk. Set aside to cool. Once the cake is cold, cut it into two layers. Spread the cold pudding in the middle and replace the top layer. Serve. Makes one 10" X 3" cake.

CLASSIC GERMAN BEE STING CAKE/ BIENENSTICH REZEPT
INGREDIENTS:
CAKE:
Eggs~6
Sugar~250ml (1cup)
Flour~250ml (1cup)
1 Pack Vanilla Sugar
1 tsp Backing Powder
CREAM:
1 Pack whipping cream
1 Pack Vanilla Sugar
Bee sting cream
Milk~ 250ml (1cup)
ALMOND TOPPING:
1 Pack Almond (100 g)
Water~125ml
Honey~4 tb spoon
You have to bake it at 160 degrees for about 30 to 35 minutes

Ingredients for Creamy Custard Filling:
Egg yolks 3
Powdered sugar 2 tbsp
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Nurpur Full Cream Milk 2 tbsp + 3 cups
Sugar 1 cup
Nurpur Dairy Cream 2 cups
Corn flour 2 tbsp
Whipped cream 1 cup
Ingredients for Egg Yolk Mixture:
Egg yolks 5
Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
Sugar 5 tbsp
Ingredients for Egg White Mixture:

Egg whites 5
Sugar 1 ½ tbsp.
Egg yolk mixture
All-purpose flour 1 ½ cup
Baking powder 1 ½ tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Nurpur Melted butter 2 tbsp
Ingredients for Honey Almond Topping:
Nurpur Butter 1/4 cup
Honey 2 tbsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
Almonds (sliced) 1 cup

Prepared sponge
Prepared Creamy Custard Filling
Nurpur Full Cream Milk (for brushing)
Honey Almond Topping
Directions for Creamy Custard Filling Preparation:
1. In a bowl add eggs yolks, powdered sugar, vanilla essence, milk and whisk them well.
2. In a pot heat 3 cups of Nurpur Full Cream Milk, Nurpur Dairy Cream, sugar and cook until it starts to simmer.
3. Add this milk mixture into the prepared egg mixture. Add gradually while stirring continuously.
4. Add this milk and egg mixture into a deep pan and cook until it thickens in consistency. Your custard is ready. sSet aside and let it cool at room temperature.
5. Now pour this custard into a bowl and add whipped cream. Mix it well. Your Creamy Custard Filing is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Egg Yolk Mixture Preparation:
6. In a bowl add egg yolks, vanilla essence, sugar and beat it well. set aside.
Directions for Sponge Preparation:
7. In a bowl add egg whites, sugar, salt, and beat until fluffy and soft peaks form. Now add egg yolk mixture, flour, baking powder and mix it well with spatula. Add butter and mix it again.
8. Now transfer the prepared mixture into greased baking pan lined with butter paper.
9. Bake it in a preheated oven at 160°C for 20-25 mins. Your sponge is ready. Take it out of the oven and keep it in the baking pan.
Directions for Honey Almond Topping Preparation:
10. In a pan heat butter, and add honey, mix it well. Now add sugar and cook until sugar melts.
11. Add almonds and mix it again. Your Honey Almond Topping is ready.
Directions for Bee Sting Cake Preparation:
12. Pour the prepared Honey Almond Topping over prepared sponge and bake it again in a preheated oven at 160°C for 5 mins.
13. Take it out of the oven. Let it cool at room temperature and remove from the pan.
14. Now cut it into 2 horizontal discs. Brush milk on the lower disc. Spread creamy custard filling on it.
15. Place top disc on it and serve. Your Bee Sting Cake is ready.
Prep time: 20-25 mins
Cooking time: 45-50 mins (including baking time)
Servings: 5-6
