One Pot Bulgur Wheat Chicken | 30 minutes Bulgur Wheat Dish| One pot meal

One-Pot Chicken and Bulgur wheat
What you need:
6 Chicken thighs / 10 chicken drumsticks
2 tsp chicken seasoning powder
1 cup frozen mixed vegetable (or fresh if you prefer)
1/2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary (or dried)
1 cup Onion
1 tsp Rice seasoning
3 cloves of garlic
1 1/2 cups Basmati rice /Bulgur wheat
2 tbsp Coconut /Olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 cups chicken stock
- [ ] To a small mixing bowl, add chicken seasoning, chopped fresh rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper and mix to combine. Rinse the rice/Bulgur wheat until the water runs clear and set aside.
- [ ] Add the chicken thighs to a bigger bowl and add the seasoning reserving about a teaspoon for later. Mix until the chicken is well coated.
- [ ] Heat up 2 tablespoons of coconut oil on medium-high heat, carefully add the chicken, skin side down and sear for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and place it on a plate and set it aside
- [ ] Sauté the chopped onions in the hot oil until soft, stir in the rinsed rice and toast for about a minute or two making sure it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan. Pour the chicken stock over the rice, the reserved seasoning and stir to combine. Deglaze the bottom of the pan while stirring by scraping the bottom of the pan. This way the rice doesn’t burn when cooking.
- [ ] Add your frozen vegetable and mix thoroughly. At this point add in your rice seasoning and taste to ensure that you have the flavours balanced.
- [ ] Arrange the chicken thighs over the rice then cover the pot with its lid and cook on low-medium heat for about 15 to 20 minutes depending on the type of rice you are using. When the rice is done, it would be tender, fluffy and the water would be absorbed too.
- [ ] Fluff the rice with a fork, serve and enjoy!

Turkish Style Beef Stir fry SAC TAVA / Sac Tawa & Ancient Bulgur Pilav
Saç Tava or Tawa is one of the traditional specialty dishes of Turkish cuisine. It is known as a pre-wedding dish in some regions, and you can find it in most Turkish restaurants. Written recipe:
It is cubed meat, beef stir fry in special tawa pans, with onions, tomatoes, green peppers, and some spices. Usually, it is served with rice pilav, but I will show you a healthier version with bulgur wheat pilav.
About Siyez and Bulgur Wheat:
Siyez bulgur or translated as Einkorn Wheat. It is one of the oldest cultivated grains discovered in early civilizations in Anatolia. It is more nutritious, as it has a different gluten structure than actual wheat grain. It is the pure original form of wheat and has never been hybridized or genetically modified.
Ingredients For Saç Tava Turkish style beef stir fry
500gr. beef in small cubes
4 tbsp vegetable oil
1 medium-size onion
about 4 sweet thin green peppers or similar kinds you can find on the market
3 medium-size ripened tomatoes (grated or peeled and finely diced) or you can use canned tomato puré, about 1/2 cup
about tsp salt, pul biber (red pepper flakes), oregano
ground cumin optional
about 1/4 cup or more hot water or meat stock
For the Siyez & bulgur Wheat Pilaf
2 cups bulgur wheat (I used 1 cup of it ancient Siyez (Eincorn) wheat
5 tbsp olive oil
1 heaped tbsp butter
1 onion
3+1/2 cup or more hot water
about 1+1/2 tsp or more salt

Hi lovelies, it's Bukie. Is there anyone out there? We're back...and I know what you're thinking: where have you been all this while Bukie? Long story but I promise to share in one of my vlogs. I hope you're all doing fab though.
Well, on this new episode of Kitchen Muse I thought I'd kick off with our signature Alternative Recipe, Stir Fry Bulgur. INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 Cups Bulgur Wheat
1 Cup Bell Peppers (Red, Green, Yellow)
3 Tbsp of Canola Oil
1/2 Cup Boneless Chicken Breast
2 Med Carrots
8 Sprigs of Green Beans
1/2 Med Onions (Chopped)
2 Cloves Garlic (Chopped)
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 Tsp Curry Powder
1 Tsp Dried Thyme
1 Tsp Paprika
2 Maggi Chicken Cubes
1 Maggi Garlic & Ginger Seasoning
Bulgur Wheat And Peas With Stir Fry Cabbage|| Simple Plantbased Meal
Ingredients
1 cup dried small red Goya beans ( Soak overnight in 4 cups water and add 5 cloves chopped garlic)
1/2 onion
4 stalks scallion
1 whole scotch bonnet pepper
Few sprigs thyme
All purpose seasoning ( seasoned to your liking)
Add about a tsp of salt to cook peas
1/4 tsp All spice or a few pimento seeds
1 cup coconut milk
1 1/2 cups water additional water
3 small piece of ginger whole or grated
????2 cups bulgur wheat- wash and soak in 3 cups water for a few minutes. The bulgur wheat will absorb the water makes it easier to cook, the grain will open and appear to be some what precooked but not cooked. This also reduce the amount of water use to cook. Usually I would just wash the bulgur and cook without soaking which is ok but I like the soaked method. The less liquid, the bulgur wheat will be less mushy once cook which I prefer. You also have the option of not soaking the bulgur but make sure to add enough liquid to cover 2 inches above the bulgur if you want it less mushy. To my surprise bulgur wheat can also be eaten uncooked. Just soak in warm water for a few minutes until grains are soft and drain any excess liquid. Something I will definitely try soon and share a recipe. Bulgur is so underrated yet so nutritious. It’s an healthier alternative to the usual white rice and it’s an excellent source of fiber. On this lifestyle to better health the learning never stops. I’m amazed at the simplest things I learn on a daily basis.
????Stir Fry Cabbage
1/4 large white cabbage
1/2 small purple cabbage
1/2 onion
3 garlic cloves
1/2 tomato
1 small carrot
Few sprigs thyme
2 stalks scallion
Small piece scotch bonnet pepper
1/4 green bell pepper ( use multi or any color)
1 tbsp unrefined coconut milk
All purpose seasoning ( I used the frontier adobo seasoning)
A pinch or salt
