Butterfly Fried Shrimp Recipe | How to Make Butterfly Shrimp
Over the years I made many variations of fried shrimp but this is by far my absolute favorite. I bet if you try one you might want to eat the whole plate.
???????????? BUTTERFLY FRIED SHRIMP
1 lb. extra large shrimp (peeled, deveined and butterflied)
2/3 cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons seasoned salt
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons black pepper
2 eggs
2 cups Panko breadcrumbs
Fry at 350F or 177C for 3 minutes.

[INGREDIENTS]
3-4 king prawns cut into butterfly shape
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika powder
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 egg
1/4 tsp salt
Breadcrumbs
Dry refined flour
Refined oil for deep frying
Fresh parsley for garnishing
Serve with Tomato chilli sauce and garlic mayo or any of your favourite dip

HOW TO BUTTERFLY A SHRIMP
Stuffed shrimp make for such a special presentation, and butterflying shrimp is so easy to do.
Peel the cooked shrimp by removing the head and the feet on the underside of the shrimp.
Insert a sharp knife about three-quarters of the way into shrimp near the head and cut nearly all the way down the center of the shrimp's back to the tail.
Remove the vein with the tip of your knife.
Open the shrimp up to lie flat.
