***HOW TO MAKE THIS EASY COUNTRY STYLE RIBS RECIPE***
Step #1 First you are going to prep your country ribs by applying your favourite BBQ Rub all over with a nice liberal coating. This is going to be the foundation layer of flavour. Once this is done go ahead and place them onto your grill using the indirect method or in our case the center of the the barrel cooker at 275 degrees. You are going to smoke them for one hour.
Step #2 While your Country Pork Ribs are smoking you will now go ahead and mix together your braising sauce. Combine your apple juice, 2 cups of bbq sauce and half and onion together.
Step #3 After one hour your ribs should be around 145 internal temp. It is now time to remove them from the grill and into your braising sauce. Once your ribs are in the sauce take the remaining bbq sauce and pour it directly on top of the ribs. Wrap the top with foil and place back on the grill for another 1hr-1hr15m.
Step #4 After about an hour in your braise you will remove the ribs from the sauce and place back on the grill over direct heat. If you are using a barrel cooker you will leave the lid open a bit to keep the temp a bit hotter. During this time, apply some bbq sauce to both sides and flip them after about 2-3 minutes. We are looking to have the sauce set and char up just a little bit adding to the depth of the flavour. Once this is done, remove from the heat and glaze with a little bit of the thin braising sauce.
That's it, Enjoy.

Country Style Barbecue Ribs - PoorMansGourmet
If you love ribs, you're going to love this Country Style recipe because it's got it all. These ribs can easily be cooked outdoors on a grill or inside on a stove and in the oven. I season the ribs with my Blackened Seasoning recipe, then braise them in barbecue sauce and pineapple juice. These ribs are finished off in the oven to caramelize the sauce and firm up the out side of the rib. The results are a fall of the bone tender barbecue rib that, literally, melts in your mouth.
