This copycat DIY Dry Onion Soup Mix is so easy to make. It only takes about 5 minutes. It is a frugal way to make an onion soup mix and be able to control the sodium, gluten, sugars, etc. You know exactly what is in it.
I use my own Bouillon Mix and my homemade onion and garlic powders. There is little or no salt in them. They do not have sugars and are relatively low on oxalates. Of course, they are all gluten free.

HOW TO USE:
3 Tbls = 1 Packet of mix
DIP: Combine 3 Tbls of soup mix, 1 Cup Sour Cream, 1/4 Cup Mayo and 1/8 tsp Salt
Soup: Heat in a sauce pan 1/4 Cup Soup Mix, 2 Cups Beef Stock

Ingredients (for 3 servings)
16 oz greek yogurt (455 g)
3 tablespoons dried parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon green onion
OPTIONAL
1 tablespoon green onion
½ teaspoon dried minced garlic
½ teaspoon dried minced onion
Preparation
Slice green pepper.
In a medium size bowl, combine Greek yogurt, dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt, dried basil, and green onions. Mix until well combined.
To prepare the platter, cut an assortment of your favorite vegetables into the shape they are easiest to dip with. (We used cauliflower, cucumber, green bell pepper, broccoli, celery, yellow bell pepper, carrots, red bell pepper, radishes, and cherry tomatoes.)
Surrounding a bowl, lay vegetables on top of a bed of kale and fill the bowl with the dip.
Optional: Sprinkle with some green onions, dried minced garlic, and dried minced onion.

Healthy High Protein French Onion Dip ????
This is such an easy and delicious healthy appetizer or snack! It’s low calorie, low fat, and caked with protein!! I love serving this dip with the Primal Bakery protein crackers for an extremely high protein snack! Who would have guessed that you can still have crackers and dip while on a diet?!
You can find @primalbakery protein crackers at GNC online, their website, or your local Sprouts! @gnclivewell
INGREDIENTS:
1 large yellow or sweet onion, diced finely
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp salt, plus more to taste
2 cups of plain, nonfat Greek yogurt
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp of white pepper, or to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat a cast iron skillet over medium/low heat with the olive oil.
2. Add your diced yellow onion and sauté for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally to caramelize the onions. I know this seems like a long time but I promise it will be worth it! They will be perfectly caramelized! Season them with a little bit of salt.
3. When you have about 10 minutes left, add the garlic. Allow the onions to cool while you prepare your dip.
4. In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, white pepper, and caramelized onion mixture. Mix until well combined.
5. Serve with your favorite crackers, veggies, etc.
Makes about 2.5 cups of dip.
I split this into 4 servings. Macros per serving:
