Citrus Molasses Glazed Ham
Ham is a tried-and-true centerpiece that brings juicy, savory flavors to the table. Try this sweet and spicy variation made with a combination of molasses, orange juice and spicy brown mustard.
To make this sweet and citrusy ham, preheat oven to 325°. Place 1 (7- to 8-pound) spiral sliced bone-in half ham, cut side down, on rack in large roasting pan; let stand at room temperature 30 minutes. Pour 2 cups water into pan; add 2 lemons (halved crosswise) and 2 navel oranges (halved crosswise) to pan. Loosely cover ham with aluminum foil; bake 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 90°.
In small saucepan, whisk 1 cup molasses, ½ cup each Roche Bros. orange juice and spicy brown mustard, ¼ cup each brown sugar and fresh lemon juice, ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon orange zest and ⅛ teaspoon cloves; heat to a simmer over medium heat and simmer 5 minutes, whisking occasionally. Makes about 4 cups.
Remove ham from oven; brush with some glaze. Bake ham, uncovered, 45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 130°, brushing with glaze every 15 minutes. Loosely cover ham with aluminum foil; let stand 15 minutes before serving. (Internal temperature will rise to 140° upon standing.) Serve ham with remaining glaze.

Easter Rotisserie Glazed Ham
A spring smoked ham cooked on the rotisserie grill.
Simple recipe with 1/4” deep diamond pattern cuts across the ham.
Left slight layer on the ham to add flavour, cooking at 325 F for the first 1/2 hr whilst glaze was prepared.
Easy as heating a 1/2 cup butter in small pot till golden brown, add 1 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup honey, 3 tablespoons of Dijon or grain mustard, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves and 4 large cloves of garlic crushed. Allow glaze to simmer for approx 5 mins in pot till brown sugar is liquified and then remove from heat.
Glaze ham every 1/2 hour until temperature is approx 160F, rest for 15 mins and slice cuts to Liking.
Easy Baked Ham Recipe
Nothing is easier or more delicious than a beautiful, caramelized Baked Ham, especially with this pineapple brown sugar glaze on top. The perfect meal for a simple Sunday dinner, to feed a crowd, or for holiday entertaining like Easter and Christmas dinner.
????️ PRINT THE RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
▢8-10 pounds bone-in fully-cooked, spiral-cut ham (3.63kg)
▢20 ounce can pineapple tidbits , or crushed pineapple (0.6kg)
▢3/4 cup light brown sugar (150g)
▢1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (1.38g)
▢1/4 teaspoon ground cloves (0.5g)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Take ham out of the refrigerator 1-2 hours before baking to allow it to come to room temperature.
2. Meanwhile, make the glaze. In a saucepan combine pineapple tidbits, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cloves.
3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 20-30 minutes or until mixture has thickened.
4. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Remove ham from packaging and throw away the glaze packet and the plastic disk that covers the bone.
5. Place the ham flat/cut side down, in a deep baking dish or roasting pan. I like to line my pan with aluminum foil to make for easier clean-up.
6. Brush just a few spoonfuls of the glaze onto the ham, all over the outside. Reserve the remaining glaze for later.
7. Cover the ham tightly with a tent of aluminum foil. This will help keep the ham from drying out.
8. Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 ½ to 2 hours, or until internal temperature reaches 110 degrees. Note, the ham is already cooked, so we’re just just trying to reheat it.
9. Remove the ham from the oven and remove foil tent (set it aside for later).
10. Increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees. Brush the remaining glaze all over the ham.
11. Return to the oven and continue to bake for another 15 minutes.
12. Remove from oven, tent with foil and allow to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
MORE TIPS FOR THIS RECIPE:
Ham: My favorite ham is a pre-cooked, bone-in, spiral sliced ham. The bone-in hams are usually more flavorful, and I love how the slicing is already done.
Storage Instructions: Place leftover ham in an airtight container and keep in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Use the leftovers in roll sandwiches, Ham Bone Soup, Ham Asparagus Rolls, or Ham Fried Rice!
Freezing Instructions: Store leftover ham in an airtight container for 1-2 months. Thaw completely overnight in refrigerator.
