How To make Egg Custard Pie
1 Unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
4 Eggs; slightly beaten
2/3 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Ground nutmeg
2 1/4 c Milk

Bake pastry shell at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Let cool. Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt, and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg; beat until blended. Gradually stir in milk; mix well. Pour filling into pastry shell; sprinkle with additional nutmeg. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 325 degrees, and bake an additional 35 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool to room temperature before serving. 250g Plain Flour
130g Cold Butter

3 Medium Eggs
75g White Sugar
450g/ml Whole Milk

Egg Custard Pie Recipe
• INGREDIENTS
• 1 ½ cups milk (please use whole)
• 1 cup heavy whipping cream
• ¼ teaspoon of salt
• 4 large eggs
• 2/3 cup of sugar
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla
• ¼ teaspoon of ground or freshly grated nutmeg
• 1 tablespoon of flour
• 1 tablespoon of butter
• 9 inch deep dish pie shell (store bought or homemade)

How to make creamy and rich Custard Egg Pie.
Here's what you'll need:
2 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour (312g)
2 tbsp sugar (30g)
1 cup cold salted butter (227g)
1/2 cup ice cold water (125ml)
For the filling:
4 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
1 can sweetened condensed milk (390g)
1 tsp vanilla (5ml)
1 and 1/2 cup evaporated milk (375ml)
2 eggwhites
1. Mix together flour and sugar. Add cold butter and cut into flour mixture using fork or scraper until resembles coarse meal.
2. Add cold water and mix until large clumps are formed.
3. Gather dough together. Wrap with cling film.
4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or 2 days.
5. Let's make the filling. Preheat oven at 160C/320F.
6. Mix together, eggs, condensed milk, evap milk and vanilla.
7. Whip eggwhites until soft peaks.
8. Incorporate whipped eggwhite with eggs mixture.
9. Roll out pie dough, place it onto 9 inch pie dish.
10. Crimp the edges. And place the custard filling.
12. Bake in a preheated oven for 60 minutes.
13. Let it cool down completely.
14. Serve and enjoy!

Delicious Egg Custard pie - everything made from scratch using our Mom's recipe for the pie shell and the filling. PIE CRUST RECIPE
6 cup All Purpose Flour 2 cup Crisco
2 Eggs, slightly beaten 2 Tablespoon Vinegar
3/4 cup Water 2 teaspoon Salt
Mix flour, salt and crisco thoroughly.
Add eggs, vinegar and water.
Mix till combined, do not over mix.
Bake pie crust at 400 for 10 minutes
EGG CUSTARD PIE RECIPE
9 cups milk total
3/4 heaping cup flour
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
6 eggs - separated
3 tsp vanilla
3 tsp nutmeg
Heat 7 cups milk to the verge of boiling (do not boil)
Beat egg whites - set aside
Mix together - 2 cups milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg & egg yolks
Stir this mixture into the hot milk that has been removed from the heat.
Add the beaten egg whites.
Pour into unbaked pie crusts (Makes 4 pie)
Bake 350 for 40 minutes
