Coconut Jelly Fruit Balls - Easy 4 Ingredient Healthy Vegan Dessert Recipe with Agar Agar / Kanten
In this video I am sharing with you my recipe for a very delicious healthy snack/dessert - clear coconut flavoured jelly with fresh and colourful fruit cubes of your choice. The recipe is healthy and vegan, using agar agar (or kanten). These fruit balls are very easy and fun to make, with only four ingredients:
- 400g (1 2/3 cup) coconut water - 8g (2 tbsp) agar agar (kanten) powder - 10g (4/5 tbsp) sugar - Some fruit cubes
As coconut water is used, we do not need to add a lot of sugar, and the natural taste of coconut is very nice in the jelly! You can match them with milk or juice, or just eat the fruit balls alone. I hope you like today's recipe! Thank you for watching :)
Healthy cocoa balls made with fruit and nuts
They taste so good, no one will believe these are actually healthy yet they are packed with goodness. These energy balls are loaded with fruits, nuts, natural sugars and healthy oils. Plus they are simple to make, just measure the ingredients, throw them in your food processor blitz, then roll in shredded coconut. This recipe makes 24, but as I keep picking at it I usually get around 20. Best to store them in the fridge, eat them cold or take them out 20 minutes before serving. They also make a great gift idea, wrap them up in cellophane with a tied ribbon or string, perfect for any occasion.
