Hobo Pie Pizza | Easy Campfire Recipes | Instructables
For the easy campfire pizza pie recipe you will need:
*campfire
*camp cooker (hobo pie maker, we use the cast iron)
*butter
*bread
*pizza sauce
*cheese
*and your choice of pizza toppings~ we used pepperoni and extra cheese :)
For the easy mountain pie dessert you will need:
*campfire
*camp cooker (hobo pie maker, we use the cast iron)
*butter
*bread
*peanut butter
*mini marshmallows
*four squares of a hershey chocolate bar is optional...but I highly recommend it!
*Put sandwich in your pie maker
*tear off excess bread
*put over indirect heat of your campfire
Rotate pie maker ever 30 seconds or minute and check occasionally to see if the bread is toasted to your liking. And just like that...perfect campfire pizza and dessert!

2 cups self rising flour
1/4 cup, 4 T. cold butter
1 to 1/4 c. buttermilk
2T. bacon grease
10 inch skillet
low to med high heat, 20 minutes or till Brown on one side, flip cook 10 more minutes, till done in middle
or cook at 400 in oven for 20 to 25 minutes
