Fudge Resep (English Recipe below)
Bestandele
300ml water
125-gram botter of margarine
1.2kg suiker
75ml goue stroop of heuning
1 gewone groote blik kondensmelk
1 koppie koekmeel
2ml kremetart (creame of tartar)
5ml Vanielje Geursel
Metode:
1. Verhit water, botter, stroop en kondensmelk in ‘n swaarboom kastrol tot alles gesmelt is, oor ‘n lae hitte

Fudge Recipe (English)
Ingredients
300ml water
125-gram butter or margarine
1.2kg sugar
75ml golden syrup or honey
1 regular size tin condensed milk
1 cup cake flour
2ml cream of tartar
5ml vanilla flavouring
Method:
1. Heat water, butter, honey and condensed milk in a saucepan on a low heat until melted.
2. Mix the sugar with the flour and add little by little to the mixture in the saucepan, until everything is thoroughly mixed and dissolved.
3. Mix the crème of tartar with a little water and add to the mixture.
4. Bring the mixture to boiling point and boil over a low heat for 20 to 25 minutes, while you stir the whole time to avoid burn-on at the bottom of the saucepan.
5. When the color looks right (after about 20-25 minutes), remove the saucepan from the heat and add the vanilla
6. Stir mixture now for 5 tot 8 minutes with a wooden spoon until the mixture starts to thicken.
7. Put mixture into a heat resistant dish.
8. Allow fudge to cool down. When the fudge is just above tepid, cut with a thin, sharp knife into blocks or cubes to your own liking. Allow to cool down further, cut again and store in an air-tight container.
