Mini Bacon Cheeseburger Impossible Pies - Gluten Free
These Mini Bacon Cheeseburger Impossible Pies are a take on Bisquick's impossible pie recipe series. With lean ground beef, turkey bacon, and low fat cheddar you won't feel guilty when you indulge in this burger knock off. I'll be using gluten free Bisquick to make these but the regular variety works just as well. Their smaller size makes it easy to enjoy all of the flavor of a bacon cheeseburger without having a huge dent in your calorie budget. These will be a hit with the whole family at dinnertime.

Ingredients list
• 1 lb 90% lean ground beef
• 1 large onion diced
• 2 strips turkey bacon, diced into small pieces
• 1 tbsp steak sauce
• 2 tbsp ketchup
• 2 oz low fat cheddar, grated
• ¾ cup gluten free Bisquick
• ¾ cup milk
• 2 eggs
• salt and pepper to taste

Mini egg bacon pies: they are so quick and easy!
They cook in less time than a big pie as well! With a few ingredients, too good to not try them!INGREDIENTS
2 soft-boiled eggs;
1 egg;
45 g (1.5 oz) flour;
2/3 cup milk;
1/3 cup ham, minced;
8-10 slices bacon;
½ cup shredded cheese;
Scallions for garnish.
METHOD
Preheat oven to 190C/375F.
Brush two large ramekins with vegetable oil and place bacon slices, overlapping, to cover bottom and sides of the ramekin.
Add a layer of chopped ham and soft-boiled egg.
Whisk 1 raw egg with flour, milk and a pinch of salt. Pour over the egg and top with cheese and ore bacon. Repeat with another one ramekin.
Bake for 15 minutes and serve hot, topped with sliced scallions.

I got the idea to make this video after watching another YouTuber, Jaime Messina, make a low carb cheeseburger casserole, or hot dish as they say in Minnesota. Her video made me so hungry, I had to make this one, which is a dish I've made often in the past, a kind of standard in my kitchen before and since the keto diet, and it's one of my favorite quick weeknight suppers. Here, I've ketofied an old Betty Crocker or Bisquick favorite simply by substituting almond flour for AP wheat flour. Nothing to it. Ingredients
750 g of bacon rashers or 750 g of bacon pieces
Cut your bacon into cubes as thick and as thin as you like as I describe in the video, I like mine thick cut
10 x fresh farm eggs, large to medium will do
One and a half cups of egg whites
2 cups of cheese, grated your choice on cheese type
Salt and pepper to taste
You can also add garlic, onion, salt, paprika, bacon, seasoning, your choice, so many different ways and tastes, you can achieve with different herbs and spices
The salts I use are pink Himalayan salt
The pepper I use is black pepper with chilli flakes
cook on stove top on low to medium heat until cooked 1/2 way through
careful not to burn the bottom
put egg & bacon pie under the grill for approximately 10 minutes
set your grill at 200 degrees Celsius

I have tried this recipe without the egg whites and it still will turn out but it won’t be as fluffy
Just remember, keep the frypan on low to medium being careful not to burn the bottom of your egg and bacon pie cast-iron pans hold the heat so you don’t need to have it on high. You can go from cooktop to grill several times to regulate the heat, so you don’t burn the bottom of your egg and bacon pie
