4 cups water 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup quick-cooking grits 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
grated 8 ounces process cheese w/jalapeno peppers :
cubed 1/4 cup butter or margarine 3 eggs -- lightly beaten 2 tablespoons chopped jalapeno peppers 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce paprika Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 2-quart baking dish. Bring water a nd salt to a boil in a large saucepan. Stir in grits. Cover, reduce heat to l ow, and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove pan from heat. Stir in cheeses and butter until melted. Add eggs , jalapeno pepper, and Worcestershire sauce; blend well. Pour mixture into prepared dish. Sprinkle with paprika as desired. Bake 40-45 minutes or until set. Cool 10 minutes before serving. .
