How To make Jam Shortbread
1 c Sugar
1 c Butter; softened
1 lg Egg
1/2 ts Almond extract
2 c Flour
1 c Almonds; finely chopped
3/4 c Tart cherry or raspberry
; preserves Recipe by: -BELLE BESTOR- 1. 325 oven. Grease a 9x12" cake pan. Cream together sugar and butter.
Add the egg and almond extract and beat until the mix is light and fluffy. Gradually stir in the flour and the almonds, forming a stiff dough. 2. Divide the dough in half; wrap one half in plastic wrap and chill.
Press the remaining dough into the bottom of the pan in an even layer. Spread the preserves in an even layer on the dough, keeping it 1/4" from the sides of the pan. Roll out the chilled dough half between 2 sheets of wax paper to a 9 x 12" rectangle and press this dough into the pan. 3. Bake until golden brown, about 1 hour. Place pan on a wire rack and cut the shortbread into 1 x 1 1/2" bars, leaving them in the pan to cool completely. Remove to tightly covered containers and store in a cool place. Shortbread Cookies with Apple Jam recipe for 15 pcs (large)
All-purpose flour - 320 g
Sugar - 30 g
Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Butter - 180 g
Sour cream - 100 g
Apple jam - 250 g
Oven - 180 C / 350F
Time - 20-25 minutes

???? Shortbread Cookies Ingredients:
1 cup (16 tbsp, 230g) butter
1/2 cup (50g) powdered sugar
2 cups (250g) all purpose flour
2.5 inch cookie cutter
???? Shortbread Cookies Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F (177C).
2. Using a hand held or stand mixer, beat butter and powdered sugar until light and creamy. Add in flour and mix until mixture resemble crumb texture.
3. Knead the dough with hands until dough forms. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
4. Lightly dust the work surface with flour, roll out the dough to a 1/4 inch thick rectangular shape. Using a cookie cutter (I used 2.5 inch round cookie cutter), cut into any shapes you like.
5. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat or parchment paper
6. Bake for about 16-18 minutes, or until cookies are pale golden brown.
7. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
