I get loads of compliments on my tuna. At first when I say tuna people think about that boring clump that gets scooped out of a plastic container with a an ice scream scooper- then when the try mine it turns into Wow
1 cup chopped cucumbers

If you are bored of the usual salads, try this NO TUNA VEGAN BOWL oh so refreshing !
First, boil some chickpeas that we will be adding to the bowl. Save the water (aquafaba) to make the dressing.
Dressing:
Blend the following ingredients to form a thick paste.
2 handful sunflower seeds (soaked for 2 hours), 1 tbsp organic soy sauce, lemon juice from 1 lemon, salt to taste, red chilli powder to taste, 3-4 garlic cloves, 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds, aquafaba as required to form a smooth paste. Be careful, not to make this runny.
VEGAN TUNA: mash boiled chickpeas along with the dressing
Salad: feel free to add any vegetables of your choice. I am using lettuce, bell peppers, cucumbers.
In the Bowl: Salad, boiled millet rice, avocado chunks and vegan tuna.
Garnish: lemon juice, salt, red chilli powder, black pepper

SAY NO TO BORING MEALS!!! Tuna Fish Pickle Recipe | Kerala Style Pickle
Over the years, the art of making pickle at home has slowly started
fading away with mass produced various flavours available in the
supermarket. However, nothing can beat the ancient style of making
pickle at home isn’t it? Don’t you miss the flavours of your
grandma’s pickle for its special rustic flavours?
We know how hard it can be staying away from native and family. New
places and new food culture make us crave for home food and its
essence. Yes, we hear you!
How about you make it today at home yourself and bring some magic to
your meals and relive the native flavours?
TUNA PICKLE
All you need is –
• Tuna
• Turmeric Powder
• Chilly Powder
• Pepper Powder
• Coconut Oil
• Mustard Seeds
• Fenugreek
• Ginger and Garlic
• Green Chilly
• Asafoetida
• Vinegar
• Curry Leaves
All set? Let’s get started:
- In a bowl, add 750 g of tuna fish cubes that are neatly cut
into cubes and washed with water.
- Pat fry the pieces before marination.
- To this, add 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder, 3 tablespoon
chilli powder,1 tablespoon pepper powder and salt to taste.
- Add 1 ½ tablespoon of coconut oil to this mixture and mix
well.
- Marinate this mixture for 30 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a heavy bottomed pan and deep fry the
marinated fish pieces in medium flame and set aside.
- In a heated pan, add 4 tablespoons of sesame oil.
- Splutter mustard seeds onto the pan.
- Add ½ cup garlic, ¼ cup ginger and fry for few seconds.
- To this, add 5no’s of green chilli, ¾ tablespoons turmeric
powder and 3 tablespoons chilli powder and continue frying.
- Add 1 tablespoons asafoetida powder, 1 tablespoons of
fenugreek powder and salt to taste.
- Mix well and add 1 cup of vinegar to this mixture.
- For some final touch, add curry leaves and mix well.
- Now, add the previously prepared tuna fry to the mixture and
cook for 2-3 minutes.
EXTRA TIPS-
- Pat dry the fish pieces before marination.
- Do not add water in any stage of preparation.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Use a dry spoon always.
