Chinese Beef In Oyster Sauce Recipe (Chinese Beef Stir-Fry Recipe)

Oyster sauce:
Oyster sauce describes a number of sauces made by cooking oysters. The most common in modern use is a viscous dark brown condiment made from oyster extracts, sugar, salt and water thickened with cornflour. Some versions may be darkened with caramel, though the high-quality oyster sauce is naturally dark. It is commonly used in Cantonese, Thai, Vietnamese and Khmer cuisine.
Ingredients:
300g Beef Fillet or Rump Steak
4 Cloves Garlic
10g Ginger
1 Small Onion
2 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 Tsp Sugar
3 Tbsp Cornflour
Salt to Taste
Method:
1. Finely chop the garlic and ginger
2. Cut the onion in half, then into small wedges
3. Thinly slice the beef and then place into a bowl, add cornflour onto the beef, toss the beef to ensure even coverage
4. Heat half a litre of oil in the wok, place beef into the hot oil, stir and deep fry for 30 seconds, remove and drain. Discard the oil
5. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in the wok, add the ginger and garlic, stir-fry for few seconds
6. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce and sugar, stir-fry for 10 seconds
7. Add the beef and onions, stir-fry for a minute
8. Add sesame oil and stir, turn off the heat
9. Transfer to a dish and then serve

4 stalks of green onion
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar
4 cloves of garlic
16.9 oz/480 g beef
2 tsp soy sauce
2 1/4 tsp dark soy sauce
3/4 tsp oyster sauce
3/4 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
4 1/2 tsp corn starch
3 tsp oil
1 1/2 tsp sesame oil
3 tbsp oil for cooking
3 tsp dark soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp oyster sauce
1 1/2 tbsp cooking wine
1/3 cup water
Black pepper

HOW TO COOK TAKE AWAY Beef and onion with oyster sauce recipe
Beef with onion is a simple yet delicious dish; the 2 ingredients of beef and onion cooked with oyster sauce have a very strong and aromatic taste. The beef should be stir fry to cooked first; then cooked with sliced onion in high heat to bring out the flavor. No water are needed to cook this dish; therefore it has no sauce. This gives the dish a more aromatic scent and crunchy texture. Oyster sauce is used to bring out the natural beef flavor.
Beef with onion and oyster sauce marinate recipe
Marinate beef;
120g beef cut against the grain into small slices
Pinch of salt
Pinch of MSG
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
Dash of wine
Dash of sesame oil
Dash of pepper
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
1g baking soda
2 tablespoon water
Half teaspoon potato starch
Marinate for 30 minutes
Beef with onion and oyster sauce dish ingredient
120g Beef
Half medium size onion (sliced)
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
1g MSG
1g sugar
Dash of wine
Dash of pepper
Cut and marinate the beef as above.
Cut half a medium size onion into slices.
Heat wok with some vegetable oil and stir fry the beef for 3 minutes to cook, and set it aside.
Heat wok with some vegetable oil and add the sliced onion and beef into the wok.
Stir fry for a bit and add dark soy sauce.
Stir fry some more and add dash of wine
Add MSG and sugar and stir fry for another minute and add dash of pepper powder .
