Cajun Butter Pasta | Delish
This creamy, cheesy pasta will be the easiest thing you make this week.
INGREDIENTS
3/4 lb. angel hair
extra-virgin olive oil
1 lb. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1/4 c. white wine
4 tbsp. butter
2 c. chopped cherry tomatoes
4 green onions, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp. paprika
2/3 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. grated Parmesan, plus more for garnish
2 tbsp. lemon juice
DIRECTIONS
1. In a large pot of boiling sated water, cook angel hair according to package instructions. Drain and toss with olive oil to prevent noodles from sticking.
2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat about 1 tablespoon olive oil. Season chicken all over with oregano, salt and pepper then add to skillet. Cook until golden on both sides and no longer pink in the middle, about 8 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing into small pieces.
3. Deglaze the skillet with white wine and cook until reduced by about half. Stir in butter and let melt, then add tomatoes, most green onions (save some for garnish), garlic, Cajun seasoning, and paprika. Cook, stirring often, until the tomatoes start to burst, about 2 minutes.
4. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and lemon juice and simmer until sauce is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Check for seasoning and season to taste with salt and pepper.
5. Turn off heat and add chicken and cooked pasta. Toss until evenly combined. Garnish with more green onion and Parmesan.

How to Make Pasta Carbonara for One - Easy and Delicious
Rich and indulgent pasta carbonara that's made with just a few ingredients! Ready in minutes!
???? RECIPE ⬇️⬇️ & Printable Recipe ➡️
???? INGREDIENTS
1 large egg
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese , plus more for topping
⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
⅛ teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1 piece thick bacon (or use 2 thin slices of bacon)
2 ounces dry spaghetti (2-ounces of dry spaghetti is approximately the same diameter of a quarter)
1 clove garlic , sliced
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional for garnish)
???? INSTRUCTIONS
1) In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper and set it aside to use later.
2) Next, cook the bacon in a medium-sized skillet over medium heat. Remove the bacon and drain on a paper towel-lined plate and set it aside.
3) Bring a medium-sized pot of water to a boil. Add the spaghetti to the boiling water. Let the pasta cook for 8 - 10 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente - tender, yet firm. Drain the pasta, reserving ½ cup of the pasta water to use in the sauce.
4) Return the skillet to the stove and heat for 30 seconds on medium heat, you should still have a little of the bacon drippings in the pan. Add the sliced garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute. Add the hot pasta to the pan and toss for 30 seconds. Remove the pan from the heat.
5) Add a little of the pasta water to the pan, stirring constantly to cool the pan off. When the pan stops sizzling, slowly add the egg and cheese mixture into the pasta a little at a time, whisking quickly until the eggs thicken, but do not scramble.
The hot pasta and the gentle heat from the already warm pan is what sets the eggs to create the velvety sauce.
6) If needed, thin out the sauce with a bit of the reserved pasta water, a little at a time, until it reaches your desired consistency. You will likely not use all of the saved pasta water to thin the sauce.
If the heat from the pan and from the cooked pasta does not quite set the eggs, you can heat the pan again over low heat and toss the pasta until cooked.
7) Crumble the cooked bacon and add it to the pasta. Toss to distribute. Taste and add additional salt, if necessary. Transfer pasta to a bowl and top with additional Parmesan and chopped parsley. Enjoy hot.
???? Expert Tips
A) Have all of your ingredients ready when you begin to cook. This dish cooks quickly.
B) Take the pan off the heat when you add in the egg mixture. The gentle heat from the already warm pan is what sets the eggs to create the velvety sauce.
C) You want to add hot noodles to the pan. The heat from the pasta and from the pan cooks the sauce.
D) Keep the pasta moving, use tongs or a spoon to continuously mix the pasta with the eggs.
E) You will likely not use all of the saved pasta water to thin the sauce. Just add a little at a time until you reach the consistency you like.

How To Make An Addictively Delicious Tortellini Salad In Just 20 Minutes!
Your #pastasalad game is getting a serious upgrade and it’s all thanks to #cheesetortellini! Tortellini Pasta Salad is packed with big flavor and so easy to make thanks to a mix of fresh ingredients and a few #Mediterranean pantry staples!
Get the full recipe here:
You’re going to kick off this recipe with cheese tortellini pasta. Cook the pasta according to package directions and watch your salt content in the pasta water! This fresh pasta will pick up on that salty flavor way more than dry pasta would.
Next, pick your favorite Italian or Greek vinaigrette, drizzle it over the pasta, toss it all together, and let’s move it along to the rest of the ingredients!
You’ll start by slicing into a handful of grape tomatoes and red onion. Then, you’ll need the help of a few Mediterranean pantry staples: Pepperoncini peppers (or banana peppers), pitted Kalamata olives, and marinated artichokes. Give all of those ingredients a rough chop and add them to the bowl!
Last, but not least, pepperoni! Or really, any Italian cured meat will do. Cut the sliced deli meat into quarters and add them to the mix as well.
Finish off the pasta salad with shaved parmesan, salt, pepper, and fresh parsley for an extra special, fresh touch!
There are so many big flavors and textures going on in this #TortelliniPastaSalad! It's savory, delicious, and perfect for make-ahead lunches, potluck parties, BBQs, and more! Enjoy!
