We show you an interesting and easy recipe to make Balkan Style home-made Pasulj ( Kidney Bean Soup ) using all organic ingredients; meat is optional but desirable as it also adds enhanced flavour to the final baked dish. Recipe ~ Pasulj ( 4 large servings ):
~700g of white kidney beans, cooked in salted water, drained
~500g of medium white onions, diced
~1/2 cup of pig fat, or optionally lard or Coconut Oil
Spices:
~2 tsp each of Salt and Pepper,
~2 Tbsp each of dehydrated vegetables spice (like Mrs. Dash seasoning), Paprika, or seasoned to taste
Optionally 100g of smoked cooked ham cut into small pieces
4 Roasted Pork Cutlets
Bake in 200 degree C. oven for 20 minutes until beans are golden brown
Side Dishes: Roasted Peppers with Garlic, Shredded Cabbage Salad, Fried Apple Slices

*White beans - 1kg
*Bacon smoked -500grams
*Onion -1big size
*Garlic -6 cloves
*Carrot -1 piece big
*Parsnip -1piece big
*Cornstarch - 1 Spoon
*Sweet paprika powder -2 tsp
*Sunflower oil
*Salt and Black pepper powder for taste
*Bayleaf - 2 pieces
*Water

GRAH / PASULJ SA REBRIMA RECEPT | BALKAN BEAN SOUP RECIPE
Introducing GRAH / PASULJ SA REBRIMA recipe (balkan bean soup), a favorite dish in the Balkans. Interestingly, this recipe can be done plainly with beans only for vegetarians, it can also be beans with sausage or beans with smoked dried meat. In this video, I'll be showing you the most basic recipe of beans with smoked dried meat. This is the usual recipe at home for regular days and there's also a special version when there's occasions. The only difference is adding carrots, sausage, bay leaf and soaking the beans in water overnight before cooking.
Ingredients:
500 grams beans
300-500 grams smoked dried meat
1 litre of water
2 onions
4 garlic cloves
2 spoons oil
1 spoon flour
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Remove the bad beans, put the beans in a pot, fill with water and bring to boil.
Step 2: Once it's already boiling, drain the water and refill with new water.
Step 3: Add the smoked dried meat, onions and garlic; and continue cooking until the beans are tender.
Step 4: In a separate pan, heat oil, put the flour and paprika; mix it.
Step 5: Combine the mixture. Mix all the ingredients well, add ground black pepper to taste, cover the pan and let it simmer (about 20 minutes).
Pasulj - Balkan Style Beans
Pasulj is the classic bean soup from the Balkans, this time made with canned beans to make the recipe quicker and easier.
If you want to use dry beans, be sure to soak them overnight and rinse them well, then cook for an hour or 90 minutes and rinse again before you start with the rest of the recipe.
I used the following ingredients for two people, but this is a very forgiving recipe, so feel free to experiment.
You can use a different sausage, or leave it out for a vegetarian version.
INGREDIENTS
Main:
2 cans white or brown beans
1 smoked sausage, cut in pieces
Vegetables:
1 large onion, finely diced
2 carrots, chunked
1 piece celeriac, chunked
3 cloves garlic, chunked
Herbs and spices:
2 bay leaf
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp pepper corn
1/2 tsp marjoram
1/2 tsp ground caraway
Both caraway and marjoram should help with any beans-related issues.
Other:
700 ml water
tomato paste
salt & pepper to taste
Roux:
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp paprika

Serbische Bohnensuppe mit Fleisch sollte jeder kochen! Chorba, das berühmte serbische Gericht! Ich habe dieses Suppenrezept zum ersten Mal vor einem Jahr gegessen, als ich durch Serbien reiste. Das Rezept für Chorba erinnert mich geschmacklich an Bograche. Bohnensuppe ist immer lecker und voller Geschmack. Heute zeige ich dir am Beispiel eines serbischen Suppenrezeptes, wie man eine Bohnensuppe kocht. Serbien ist berühmt für seine Gerichte, sie sind immer köstlich und reichhaltig. Serbisches Rezept, dies ist eine ziemlich einfache Lösung, um ein köstliches Gericht zuzubereiten. Suppe mit Fleisch, das ist wohl eine Delikatesse für alle! Die Hauptsache bei der Zubereitung eines Gerichts ist, dass Sie alles mit Liebe tun müssen.
Rezept und Zutaten:
100 g Speck schneiden.
1 Zwiebel hacken.
400-500 g Rippchen schneiden.
3-5 Minuten bei starker Hitze braten.
1 Karotte hacken.
2 süße Paprika hacken.
100 g Champignons klein schneiden.
1 scharfe Peperoni und 2 Knoblauchzehen.
3 mittelgroße Tomaten reiben.
Alles 15 Minuten köcheln lassen.
2 mittelgroße Kartoffeln in kleine Würfel schneiden.
Salz, Pfeffer, Paprika, Rosmarin.
300 g Dosenbohnen, 1 Liter Wasser.
15-20 min kochen.
etwas Dill und Petersilie hacken.
