4 Eggs 1 c Cottage cheese 1/4 c Flour 1/4 c Sugar 1/4 ts Salt 1/8 ts Pepper Whirl eggs and cheese together in a blender until well mixed and smooth. Add salt, pepper, sugar, and flour and whirl to blend. Pancakes will fry up small and thin on the griddle. Serve with sour cream and fresh berries or jam. Brown sugar may also be sprinkled on top. Khaman Dhokla Recipe In Less than 30 Minutes | Delicious, Spongy, and Homemade
Khaman Dhokla is a tasty Indian comfort food that I have grown up eating throughout my life. I am excited to share this recipe with you all. Not only is it delicious, but it can be done in less than 30 minutes!
How to Make Khaman Dhokla Recipe in Less than 30 Minutes:
What You'll Need:
Dhokla Steamer 1 cup Fine Chickpeas Flour 2 tablespoons Semolina (Rava or Sooji) Salt to taste 3 tablespoons Sugar 1 tablespoon Lime Juice 1 teaspoon Eno Fruit Salt 1 teaspoon of Sesame Seeds 1 teaspoon Desiccated Coconut 1 + 1/3 cup Water Chopped Green Chilies 1 teaspoon Ginger Paste 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds 2 tablespoons of Cooking Oil
Recipe: 1. Start Boiling Water in Dhokla Steamer 2. Grease the plate for the Khaman Dhokla Batter 3. While water is boiling, make the Khaman Dhokla batter. 4. Add the chickpeas flour into a larger bowl 5. Add the Semolina, add salt but to your own preference, add 1.5 tablespoons of sugar, add ginger paste, add 1 cup of water to the Khaman Dhokla batter, add Eno fruit salt, add lemon juice on top of eno fruit salt 6. Mix the ingredients together 7. Add the batter to the steamer immediately 8. Cover and let the batter cook for 12-15 minutes 9. While the batter is cooking, start making the tempering. 10. Add the oil, add the mustard seeds. Let the mustard seeds splatter. 11. Add a pinch of asafoetida, add the sesame seeds, add the green chilies 12. Let it cook for one minute 13. Add 1/3 cup of water, and add the remaining sugar in the tempering. Let the tempering boil. 14. Once the khaman dhokla is cooked in the steamer, let it cool. Then transfer it to a different plate. 15. Add about 1/2 of the tempering to the khaman dhokla 16. Cut the khaman dhokla into square pieces. 17. Garnish the khaman dhokla with dessicated coconut.
