How To make Pot Roast In Beer Aug 86
4 lb pot roast (lagarto redondo)
2 cans sweet dark beer
1 tsp caraway seeds
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
2 cloves
1/2 tbs dried thyme
1 cup beef broth
salt and pepper -- to taste 2 tbsp butter or oil
1. Marinate roast in beer, salt, pepper, clove for at least 12 hours. 2. Heat butter or oil in a Dutch oven 3. Drain meat and brown 4. Strain marinade and pour half of it over meat along with the spices. 5. Cover pot and cook meat slowly for 3 to 4 hours until tender, adding more marinade or broth as needed. 6. Transfer meat to a serving dish , thicken the sauce with butter and flour and pour over meat

Ingredients:
5lb raw chicken
12oz can beer
1/2 head of garlic
1 sprig of rosemary
1 sprig of thyme
6oz butter
2 lemons
2 tbsp salt
2 tbsp pepper
Directions
1. Remove chicken gizzards and rest on paper towels until chicken gets to room temp
2. Heat a pot on medium and add in butter and garlic. Kill the heat and add lemon and herbs. Store rub in a fridge for an hour
3. Stuff chicken with lemons, garlic, herbs, and add salt and pepper
4. Remove rub from fridge and lather up the chicken
5. Cook for about an hour (or however long it takes to get the fattest part of the breast to 165F)

How to Make Irish Beef and Guinness Stew ~ Beef Stew Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
2 pds stew meat - I cubed chuck roast
1 cup diced onions
3 diced celery stalks
4 diced med. size carrots
1 1/2 cups cubed parsnips
1 bottle of Guinness Stout beer
3-4 cups beef broth
1 tbsp. tomato paste
2 minced cloves garlic
4-5 sprigs of fresh thyme or 1 tsp. dry thyme
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and black pepper

*I am serving with mashed potatoes but you can
also add some cubed red potatoes the same time
you add the parsnips.
1 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
*Dredge cubed beef in above seasoned flour and
shake off excess
In a medium high heat pan coat bottom with oil.
Add beef and cook on each side for 1-2 minutes or
until a golden crust forms. Remove from heat.
Turn heat to medium, add onions and stir for one
minute. Add garlic and tomato paste.
Stir and cook for one minute.
Add carrots and celery, stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add Guinness beer and stir.
Turn heat up to high and add beef broth, stir and
make sure you get the tid bits off the bottom of the pan.
Add Worcestershire sauce, sprigs of thyme, and chopped
parsley. Stir and bring up to a simmer, reduce heat,
cover and cook for 1 hour stirring occasionally.
Add parsnips (and/or potatoes, turnips), stir, cover
and cook for 20-30 minutes or until meat and veggies
are tender.
You can thin out the stew with more broth if needed.
Serving with mashed potatoes and garnishing with parsley.
Enjoy.
