How To make Ribbon Loaf

lime jello

raspberry jello

applesauce (15 oz)

double graham crackers

dream whip dessert topping mix envelope
1/4
teaspoon
almond extract
3
tablespoon
confectioners sugar
1/4
cup
almonds, blanched, toasted, chopped
Directions:
Combine each package of jello with 3/4 cup applesauce. Stir until well blended, about 1 1/2 minutes. Place 2 double crackers end to end on platter. Spread with 1/4 cup lime mixture. Top with 2 double crackers; spread with 1/4 cup raspberry mixture. Continue layers, alternating flavors and ending with crackers.
Prepare dessert topping mix as directed on package, using 1/4 teaspoon almond extract instead of vanilla. Add confectioners sugar. Spread over sides and top of loaf. Sprinkle sides with almonds. Chill at least 30 minutes.

Red and White Ribbon Loaf || The Complete Holiday Cookbook 1969
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup milk
3 cups cottage cheese
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 tablespoons chopped onion
4 slices cucumber
4 pimiento strips
Sprinkle gelatin on milk in saucepan to soften. Place over low heat, stirring until gelatin is dissolved. Remove from heat; stir in cheese, celery, and onion. Alternate cucumber and pimento on bottom of loaf pan. Spoon in half the cheese mixture. Chill until slightly firm.
Aspic layer:
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
1 10-3/4 oz can condensed tomato soup
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon dried dill leaves
1/2 cup cooked shrimp
1/4 cup diced green pepper
Sprinkle gelatin on cold water in saucepan to soften. Place over low heat, stirring until gelatin is dissolved. Remove from heat. Stir in soup, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and dill. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in remaining ingredients. Pour on cheese layer. Top with remaining cheese mixture. Chill until firm, about three hours. Unmold, serve on salad greens. Serves 6-8.

1 cup warm milk (250ml)
1/4 cup sugar (50g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
3 and 1/4 cup all purpose flour (406g)
2 and 1/4 tsp instant yeast (7g)
1/3 cup unsalted butter (70g)
Buttercream topping:
1/3 cup softened butter (70g)
1/3 cup icing sugar (50g)
Grated cheddar cheese for toppings
SPANISH:

RIBBON SANDWICH | රිබන් සැන්ඩ්විච්
INGREDIENTS
2 Carrot
1 Beetroot
1 Cup Green Peas
1 Green Chilli
2 Whole egg
1 Tsp Pepper
1/4 Tsp Mustard
2 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp Mayonnaise (plain yogurt)
¼ Lemon
¼ Salt to taste (You can change the amount of ingredients)
METHOD
1. Boil the vegetables, peas, and egg separate.
2. Mash the vegetables in separate bowls.( Use separate spoons).
3. Mash the egg.
4. In a bowl add rest of the ingredients and mix well.
5. Into the veggies add the same potion of butter paste and mix.
6. Spread the paste onto the bread slices.
7. Cut the for sides and diagonal shapes.
TIPS: 1. Always clean the knife and battered the knife.
2. Instead of eggs you can use tofu or paneer.

Ingredients:
Bread improver / sponge dough
instant yeast 2 tsp (7grams)
sugar 1 tbsp
warm milk 1 cup
mix all together and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
all purpose flour 250 grams (2 cups)
mix all purpose flour with the bloomed yeast mixture and let it rise for 35 minutes. until doubled in volume.
Second dough: or main dough
all purpose flour 250 grams (2 cups)
powder milk 2 tbsp
salt 1/4 tsp
sugar 137 grams (2/3 cup)
yolks 120 grams (7 large yolks)
butter 70 grams (softened)
homemade bread improver
Cream cheese filling:
cream cheese 200 grams
butter 100 grams
powder sugar 175 grams
salt 1/4 tsp
vanilla 1/2 tsp
milk or cream 2 tbsp
Toppings:
1 box cheedar cheese
Oven temperature: 150°c I'm using gas oven
baking time : 15 to 18 minutes
Note:
do not over bake to prevent the bread from drying
do not over proff to avoid sour taste bread.
