Venison Rumaki - DELICIOUS!
This recipe is a GREAT way to prepare your deer steak! Even folks who don't care for the taste of venison will enjoy this. Rumaki is traditionally made with duck or liver wrapped around a water chestnut and of course BACON encases the whole morsel. Instead of water chestnuts, you can use any kind of vegetable. I like jalapenos, olives, mushrooms...etc... Grill the bacon until it's crispy (I actually like mine a little burnt). I first had (duck) rumaki at a duck hunting draw when a couple of old guys brought some in to share. Since then, I've been using all kinds of different meats and vegetables. This recipe is too good not to share. You will not be disappointed!
