INGREDIENTS:
3 tb Soy sauce
1 tb Dry sherry; optional
1 ts Sugar
1/8 ts Ginger; ground
4 Chicken livers (about 1/4lb)
-cut into 1" pieces 8 Water chestnuts; cut in half
2 Scallions; green part only
-cut int 2" lengths 8 sl Bacon; cut in half
1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sherry, sugar, and ginger. Add
chicken livers and marinate, tossing occasionally, for at least 15 minutes at room temperater, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator. 2. Remove livers from marinade, and drain. Press a piece of liver around
a piece of water chestnut. Wrap with a piece of scallion and bacon and secure with a wooden toothpick. 3. Preheat the boiler. Broil the rumaki about 5 minutes from the heat,

1 (250 g) pack BACON
1 bundle Asparagus Spears
2 tbsp Cooking Oil

0:26 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
0:30 Cut bacon in half and wrap each water chestnut; secure with a toothpick.
0:36 Place in rows on a baking sheet.
0:38 Bake for 25 minutes then drain the grease.
0:42 Refrigerate for about 3 hours or overnight.
0:47 Combine remaining ingredients and pour over bacon-wrapped water chestnuts.
0:57 Bake at 350 degrees F for another 20 minutes. Serve warm.

LUNCHEON MEAT RUMAKI
Ingredients:
1 (340 g) can PUREFOODS LUNCHEON MEAT
1 (250 g) pack PUREFOODS HONEYCURED BACON
1 bundle asparagus spears
2 tbsp MAGNOLIA NUTRI-OIL PALM VEGETABLE OIL
Procedure:
1. Slice the luncheon meat into thick strips (1/2 inch x 1/2 inch x 1 inch).
2. Cut the asparagus just a bit longer than the luncheon meats.
3. Roll the luncheon meat and the asparagus into the bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
4. Heat oil in pan. Lightly fry the rolls until bacon turns golden brown.
Makes 18-20 pieces.
