How To make Sour Orange Cake
1 box yellow cake mix
1 box orange jello (3 oz)
5 whole eggs
3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup apricot nector or sour orange juice
1 cup nuts -- chopped
Mix everything together then add nuts. Pour into prepared bundt pan. ( Prepared with Pam or Baker's Joy and bread crumbs). Bake at 350 deg F for 20 minutes, then 325 deg F for 35-40 minute
Glaze: 1 tsp sour orange juice and enough powdered sugar to make a nice glaze. If you use the apricot nector you can sour it by adding 1 TBL lemon or lime juice. If you use just the apricot nector, add 1 TBL Brandy.

Sour Cream Orange Cake
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups flour
2 eggs
1/3 cup sour cream
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 tbs vanilla
1.5 cups of sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
Decent amount of orange zest
1 stick of butter (room temp)
1/3 cup of oil
ORANGE GLAZE:
1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 TBS of heavy cream (depending on how thick YOU want your glaze)
1 TBS of orange zest
RECIPE:
1.) Pre-heat oven to 350 & grease a Bundt pan
2.) In a bowl cream butter, sugar, orange zest. Then add eggs, vanilla and salt & whisk
3.) In another bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, & baking soda
4.) Next add the flour mixture to the wet mixture. Then add oil, sour cream, & OJ & mix until you no longer see the flour
5.) Add batter to greased Bundt pan
6.) Bake for about 45 minutes or until a knife comes out clean
7.) Remove the oven and let cool BEFORE flipping onto a plate
8.)While the cake is cooling, prepare your glaze by combining all ingredients listed
9.) Flip Bundt pan into a cool surface and top with orange glaze
10.) Slice, serve with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream ..

This sour cream pound cake with orange flavor is refreshingly delicious - it's soft, buttery and oh so tasty. It will be your go to recipe for weekend dessert or for high tea party.
Note: Baking time requirement can vary depending on the oven. If your cake is still gooey after baking for 50 minutes then bake it for additional 10 to 15 minutes. Total time for baking should be 50 to 65 minutes at 330. best thing to do is to insert a toothpick or fork and see if it comes out clean. Please let us know what worked for you best!

Paprika Chicken
Ingredients:
Chicken thigh fillets (cut into chunks) 1/2 kg
Olive oil 1 tbsp
Onions (thinly sliced) 2
Garlic minced 2 tsp
Paprika 1-1/2 tbsp
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Tomatoes diced 400 gm
Chicken stock 1-1/2 cups
Sour cream ½ cup
To Serve:
Rice (boiled) as required
Parsley sprigs few
Method:
Sprinkle the chicken chunks with salt and pepper to taste. Heat olive oil. Cook the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden. Add the onion and garlic. Cook until golden and fragrant. Add paprika and fennel seeds, the chopped tomatoes and the chicken stock. Mix well. Add the chicken back into the pan and bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, lastly stir in sour cream. Serve on rice, garnished with parsley.

Orange Sour Cream Cake (Milkpak Cream)
Ingredients:
Butter 200 gm
Caster sugar 200 gm
Eggs 2
Orange zest of 1 orange
Sour cream 200 ml
Flour 300 gm
Baking powder 2 tsp
Orange juice of 1 orange
Marmalade 100 gm
Method:
Beat the butter and the sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. Gradually add the eggs. Next beat in the orange zest and sour cream, then sift in the flour and baking powder and fold in to combine. Tip the mixture into a greased and lined cake tin, then bake at 180 degrees C for 40–50 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
While the cake is cooking, make the glaze. Place the orange juice and marmalade in a saucepan. Bring to the boil, stirring to dissolve the marmalade. Then remove from the heat. When the cake is warm, pour the warm marmalade glaze over, and allow the cake to cool down fully while soaking up the syrup.
