Ingredients:
•Desi Ghee – 3 tablespoons
•Lotus Seeds or Phool Makhana or Foxnuts – 50 grams
•Pecans – 1 cup
•Almonds – 1 cup
•Cashews – 1 cup
•Walnuts – 1 cup
•Peanuts – 1 cup
•Pistachios – ½ cup
•Salt – 1 tablespoon
•Coriander Powder – 1 tablespoon
•Cumin Powder – 1 tablespoon
•Black Pepper Powder – ½ tablespoon
•Red Chilli Powder – 1 tablespoon
•Chat Masala – 1 tablespoon
•Sultanas – ½ cup
•Green Raisins – ½ cup

Elevate your snacking experience with this quick and easy holiday treat. Ideal for gifting or indulging, these roasted nuts are a flavorful delight featuring the sweet, salty and spicy crunch of cashews and almonds. Quick and easy to make, these roasted cashews are infused with a medley of spices, including chili powder, cumin powder, and a touch of Amchur (Dry Mango) Powder.

- Almonds - 1 cup
- Cashews - 1 cup
- Oil - 2 Tbsp
- Chili Powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Amchur (Dry Mango) Powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar - 1 Tbsp
INSTURCTIONS:
1. Start by dry roasting 1 cup of cashews and 1 cup of almonds in a pan over medium heat.
PRO TIP: Feel free to use any nuts you prefer!
2. Roast on medium heat for about 3-5 minutes until just slightly golden brown, then remove from heat and set aside.
3. Next, in a pan add oil along with 1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, and 1 tsp amchur (dry mango) powder.
PRO TIP: Feel free to add more chili powder if you like a little more kick!
4. Mix, then add in ½ tsp salt and 1 Tbsp sugar.
5. Give everything one more mix and add in the roasted nuts.
6. Roast the nuts and spices all together for another 2-3 minutes than remove from heat.
7. Serve in your favorite dish or package them up to share with friends and family this holiday season.

Betty's Sweet and Hot Mixed Nuts
Betty demonstrates how to make Sweet and Hot Mixed Nuts. This recipe uses a combination of peanuts, English walnuts, Brazil nuts, and cashews; however, you may choose other nuts that you particularly like. The nuts get coated with a little butter and brown sugar and then are spiced up with chili powder, cinnamon, red pepper, and salt and then are baked for a short time in the oven.

Sweet and Hot Mixed Nuts
¼ cup unsalted dry-roasted peanuts
¼ cup English walnuts
¼ cup Brazil nuts
¼ cup cashews
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
2 teaspoons chili powder
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
cooking oil spray
Place ¼ cup unsalted dry-roasted peanuts, ¼ cup English walnuts, ¼ cup Brazil nuts, and ¼ cup cashews in a medium sized bowl. Pour 2 tablespoons melted butter over the nuts and stir to coat. In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, 2 teaspoons chili powder, ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, and ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne). Add to the nut mixture, and toss to coat. Place nut mixture in a single layer in a 8-inch by 12-inch baking pan that has been sprayed with cooking oil spray. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 20 minutes. Serve and enjoy! --Betty :)
