How To make Spicy Pea Soup
10 c Water
1 1/2 c Split green peas
2 x Carrots, diced fine
2 x Celery, diced fine
1 x Onion,chopped fine
1 t Onion powder
1 t Garlic powder
1 t Paprika
1/4 ts Cayenne
2 tb Soy sauce
Place peas and water in large pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium low, add remaining ingredients, cover and cook for 2 hours. Stir occasionally. When the ingredients are smooth like puree, serve. Helpful hint: stirring with a wisk helps blend the ingredients. FROM: Mcdougall Helath Supporting Cookbook

2 TBSP EVOO
1/2 TBSP salt
2-3 cloves garlic
1 yellow onion
1/2 TBSP Curry powder
7-8 medium carrots
8-10 cups chicken stock
chives to finish
creme fraiche to finish.
In a pot over medium heat, add onions, and cook for 4 minutes, then add your garlic and curry powder cook for 1 minute.
Then add carrots, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil Drop to a simmer and cook until everything is soft. then blend your soup until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and serve with chives and sour cream.

Creamed Green Peas Soup Recipe | Easy To Make Healthy Soup | By Teamwork Food
Creamed green peas soup is also fantastic to make ahead of time for the week ahead when you need a quick yet nourishing lunch, dinner, or side to a meal. We are going to make cream based soup flavored with mint and coriander.
Ingredients:
- Green peas 200gm
- Onion 1 no
- Garlic cloves 5
- Fresh mint 10 leaves
- Coriander 5-6 sprigs
- Cooking cream 3 tbsp
- Butter 2 tsp
- Room temperature water 200 ml
- Olive oil 2 tbsp
- Sugar 1tsp
- Salt and black pepper as per taste.
Method:
- Heat the pan and drizzle olive oil.
- Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until golden brown.
- Sprinkle salt and black pepper and add green peas, some fresh chopped mint, coriander and sugar.
- Cook for a while and add room temperature water and let it simmer for 5-10 min.
- Remove the pan from heat and let it cool for a while and put the mixture into blender.
- Blend until a smooth paste and strain it through a strainer.
- Take the strained mixture in a pan and add some more water.
- Give a gentle boil and finish with cream and butter.
- Add some chopped mint and coriander and garnish by drizzling cream and olive oil.
- Serve hot.
