How To make Syrian Noodles with Lentils
2 tb Vegetable oil
1 ea Onion, chopped
3 ea Garlic cloves, pressed
2 ts Roasted cumin seeds, ground
1 ts Roasted coriander, ground
2 sm Cayenne peppers
2 c Lentils, washed
1 ea Bay leaf
7 c Water
Salt & pepper 4 oz Broken vermicelli
Heat oil in a large casserole. Saute onion & garlic until the onion is tender. Add cumin & coriander. Saute for another minute over medium heat. Add cayenne pepper, lentils, bay leaf & water. Bring to a boil. Add salt & pepper to taste, cover, reduce heat & simmer for 45 minutes. Simmer only until the lentils are just tender. Adjust seasonings. Just before serving, bring back to a simmer & add the noodles. Cook until al dente, about 4 to 10 minutes. Serve at once in bowls. In place of vermicelli, use wholewheat spaghetti noodles or macaroni. Martha Rose Shulman, "Spicy Vegetarian Feasts"

[Ingredients]
*Lentil
*Elbow Macaroni
*Onion
*Garlic
*coriander (green)
*maggi cubes
1.Boil the pasta as what the instruction says (drain and set aside)
2.Fry the onion,garlic with coriander
3.Boil the lentil half soft add the pasta let it boil little and din add the fried onion and maggic cubes let it boil till its all good..
4.place it on the bowl/plate
-serve hot

3 medium size chopped tomatoes
1tbsp tomato puree
1/2tsp crushed red chili flakes
1tsp Salt
1/2tsp black pepper
1/2tsp cumin powder
For veg and noodles
Ingredients
3tbsp olive oil
220g mixed vegetables
275g lentil noodles
Parmigiano for garnishing

How to Make Lentil Soup - Cozy Winter Recipe! Vegan Friendly
Let's learn how to make a cozy soup perfect for fall and winter - lentil soup or as we call it in Arabic, Shorbat Addis! I partnered with my favorite olive oil brand, Filippo Berio, to bring you this recipe and it won't disappoint. INGREDIENTS
2 to 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 yellow onion, diced
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2/3 cup shaved carrots
1 1/2 cup red lentils
4 cups chicken broth
2 to 3 cups water
1 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 to 2 teaspoons cumin, to taste
1 to 2 teaspoons salt, to taste
Red pepper flakes, to taste
Lemon wedges, to squeeze on top
*For the water and broth, you can use only broth too! To make this vegetarian/vegan, use vegetable broth.
