6 ounces vermicelli or very thin spaghetti 2 tablespoons melted butter 6 ounces grated Gruyere cheese 3 eggs 1 1/2 cups milk -- (or cream) 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup minced parsley Chopped vegetables as desired (broccoli or mushrooms or asparagus) Cook pasta as directed and place in deep ten inch glass pie dish with melted bu tter. Spread over bottom of dish and up sides to form a thick "crust". Place gr ated cheeses and vegetables (if desired) in crust. Beat remaining ingredients u ntil well blended and pour over all. Press down and "lift" pasta on sides of di sh to form crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until knife in center c omes out dry and crust is golden. Low calorie cooking spray 220g bacon, visible fat removed cut into 1cm pieces 110g mushrooms, sliced 2 garlic cloves 3 large eggs 150g fat free natural cottage cheese 3–4 cherry tomatoes, halved 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley 80g reduced fat cheddar Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Remove all visible fat from the bacon and fry for a few minutes. Add the mushrooms garlic, season well and continue to cook for 4-5 minutes then set aside Preheat the oven to 190°C/170°C Fan/Gas 5. Spoon the bacon mixture into a flan dish. Mix the eggs, cottage cheese, parsley and cheddar cheese in a bowl and spoon over the bacon mixture. Top with the tomato halves and bake at 190°C/170°C Fan/Gas 5 for 15-20 minutes until just set. Serve hot or cold with baby potatoes and a large salad. Vegetarians, swap bacon for Quorn ham pieces for extra flavour.

This is a fantastic recipe and keeps well in the fridge, works well for lunches and snacking. If following slimming world you will need to syn the pasta and sauce as you will see i made mine up using water only and i think this works perfectly.
You dont need to top it with cheese if you dont want to.
