How To make Broccoli Ham Hot Dish
2 20 oz. pkgs frozen cut broccoli
2 cups cooked rice
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cups fresh bread crumbs
(about 2 1/2 slices)
1 medium onion :
chopped
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cups milk
1 1/2 pounds fully cooked ham, cubed
shredded Cheddar or Swiss cheese
Cook broccoli according to pkg. directions. Drain. Spoon rice into a 13x9" baking pan. Place broccoli over rice. Melt butter in a large skillet. Sprinkle 2 Tablespoon of melted butter over the bread crumbs and set aside. In remaining butter, saute onion unitl soft. Add flour, salt and pepper, stirring constantly until bubbly. Stir in milk and continue cooking until sauce thickens and bubbles. Cook and stir for one minute. Add ham and heat through. Pour over rice and broccoli. Sprinkle the crumbs over all. Bake at 350 F. for 30 minutes or unitl heated through. Sprinkle with cheese. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. MC formatting by bobbi744@acd.net ICQ#2099532

An easy and delicious cheese vegetable casserole that everyone will love!
1 cauliflower
1 pepper
3 carrots
1 zucchini
Olive oil
Salt & pepper
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Roast vegetables for 15-20 minutes until tender.
Cream mixture:
1 cup sour cream
1 cup heavy cream
1 & 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
Italian parsley (optional)
Bake the vegetables mixed with the cream mixture for 15 more minutes or until golden on top.

Greetings! Here is a great recipe that you can whip up and throw in the oven and go about other things for a while. This is a perfect dish for the low carb foodie or the gluten free foodie or anyone who wants a delicious, hearty and healthy meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Broccoli, Ham and Cheese Egg Casserole, fits this bill to a tee!
This is really a creation that comes from the fact that I got busy and didn't make any pie crust in order to make quiche for dinner. Since the girls were really looking forward to quiche, I did the best I could on a snowy, cold and rainy evening and just rolled with it, just like I am sure you have had to do many times. So crustless quiche it was for dinner.
We paired this with a green salad and it was filling and satisfying. We actually had about half of this casserole leftover and I put it in the fridge and we had it over the next few days for breakfast and lunches. It reheated perfectly and tasted delicious and fresh.
You can put whatever you like in this, don't just limit yourself to the fillings I used. Think about asparagus, swiss cheese and poached chicken or just cheese if you like. How about crispy bacon and caramelized onion? I think that would be amazing! No matter what you put in there you are going to be happy you made this.
