3/4 lb Velveeta Mexican Pasteurized
-Process Cheese Spread With Jalapeno Pepper,cubed 1/2 c Sour cream
1/4 ts Garlic salt
2 Eggs,separated
2 10 oz pkg. frozen chopped
-spinach,thawed,well drained 3 c Chopped cooked chicken
1/4 c Chopped red or green bell
-pepper 1 4 oz can sliced
-mushrooms,drained 2 8 oz cans refrigerated quick
-crescent dinner rolls In a 3 quart saucepan, combine process cheese, sour cream and garlic salt; stir over low heat until cheese is melted. Remove from heat. Beat egg yolks thoroughly; reserve 1 Tbs for glaze. Gradually, stir in remaining egg yolks into cheese mixture. Cool. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; fold into cheese mixture. Add remaining ingredients except dough; mix lightly. Unroll one can of dough; press into bottom and sides of a greased 12" oven proof skillet, pressing perforations together to seal. Spread spinach mixture over the dough. Unroll the second can of dough; separate into eight triangles. Loosely,twist each triangle at the pointed end. Arrange dough triangles on the spinach mixture, pointing ends towards center. Seal outer edges to crust. Brush dough with the reserved egg yolk. Bake @ 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until egg mixture is set. Makes 8 servings.

When I first read this recipe I knew it was going to take much longer than 30minutes. And I wasn't wrong! Jamie has a great way to write a recipe for everyone to follow.
Having said that, this recipe was a combination of side dishes (carrots and peas) which I had no time to cook up. I did add the peas to the chicken mixture and it was sensational! My strong advice is to add peas to the chicken mix, it will not disappoint you. And perhaps carrots as well ????
Mouth watering pie! Complete thumbs up! The trick with pies is that they require to stand for a good 30-40mins. This sets the pie and makes it less messy to serve and much more firmness in the filling.
The recipe tells you once you top the pie with the pastry, stick in the oven for 15mins ( or until golden & gorgeous). I think they didn't want to scare you with the time taken to make this pie! This is totally insufficient. If you like the golden and puffy top that the pastry gives you, you will need to leave in the oven for 25-30mins on high heat.
I think the combination of the mustard, stock, thyme ( fresh preferable) & creme fraiche (sour cream) was spot on! I used a mild mustard in my pie. The two pies that I made were gone in no time!

Instant Yeast vs Active Dry Yeast | How to Activate Yeast

⏺ When you add instant yeast (quick rise yeast) directly into the flour , also add sugar and salt and mix it with lukewarm water or milk.( Always use lukewarm water/milk with yeast and let it rise in a warm place for better results for about 1 and 1/2 hours or until it’s double in size.)
⏺ 1 teaspoon yeast is good for 2 cups (250g) of flour .
⏺ Always knead the dough very lightly and keep the dough very soft .
⏺ Dough should be super soft (not hard) it’s very important.
⏺ I apologize that at the end I didn’t show you how to mix the dough with instant yeast , the reason behind it was i only wanted to show you that you can simply add instant yeast in the flour and continue mixing dough with water or milk.
