1 1/2 c PECANS
1 x PIE SHELL, DEEP DISH
PREHEAT OVEN AND A BAKING SHEET TO 3500F. IN A LARGE BOWL, STIR EGGS, CORN SYRUP, SUGAR, MARGARINE AND VANILLA UNTIL WELL BLENDED. STIR IN THE PECANS. POUR INTO THE PAStrY SHELL AND PLACE PIE ON THE BAKING SHEET IN THE OVEN. -----

***Baked in oven preheated to 425 degrees for 10-15 mins. Then TURNED MY OVEN DOWN TO 325 degrees and baked for 1 hour. (Baking time will depend on your oven)

1/2 C Maple Syrup (Of your choice)

1 C White Granulated Sugar
1/4 C Light Brown Sugar
3 TblSp Melted Butter
2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp. Maple Extract
1 Tsp. Salt

Southern Pecan Pie (My Husband's Favorite!)
Ingredients:
3 eggs
1 cup Light Corn Syrup
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups pecans
1 9-inch deep dish pie crust
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 (oven temps vary). Lightly beat eggs in medium bowl. Beat in sugar, melted butter, vanilla, corn syrup and pinch of salt. Stir until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie crust.
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until lightly browned and set (cook times vary). Use a foil tent to cover pie crust edges to prevent overbrowning. Cool completely on a wire rack or tray.
**First Lady's Serving Tip: Slice and serve warm with whipped cream or a scoop of French Vanilla ice cream.

Pecan pie is a classic American dish and here I show you how you can make a beautiful pie, and its so easy. There are many videos online all with a beautiful pie but I've tried to mix all the recipes into my own simple version for you to easily made your own pecan pie recipe at home.
you will need for the crust -
113g butter
200g flour
salt
25g sugar
for the rest -
250g pecans
60g butter
60g maple syrup
60g brown sugar
240g corn syrup
vanilla
salt
3 eggs
1 yolk

Classic Pecan Pie with Michael's Home Cooking
Classic Pecan Pie is one of the easy pies to make. Most common on holidays, I make this pie anytime of the year. See description for full recipe.
Ingredients:
1 pie pastry
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup light corn syrup
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
4 eggs
2 ounces melted butter (1/2 stick)
1 Tablespoon Bourbon or vanilla extract
1 to 1 and 1/2 cups pecans
Heat your sugar and corn syrups at least until the sugar melts, you can go longer and boil for up to 5 minutes.
Cool this sugar mixture for five minutes, then add to your beaten eggs is a slow stream. Once you get around 1/3 of the sugar mixture into your eggs you can pour the rest quickly while still stirring the eggs.
Strain this mixture if desired.
Add your pecans to your cold pie pastry.
Add your sugar/egg mixture to the pie pastry.
Bake 350F for 50 to 60 minutes.
Pie is done once puffed up some and a little jiggly.
