How To make Creole Steak
Ingredients: 2 lb Lean round steak
1/4 c Flour
2 ts Salt
2 ts Paprika
1/2 ts Pepper
3 tb Vegetable oil
1 c Onion; chopped
1/3 c Green pepper; chopped
1 cn (16 ounces) tomatoes;
1/2 c Raw rice;
1 c Condensed beef broth
1 c Water
Directions: Cut steak into 7 equal serving pieces. Mix flour, salt, paprika, and pepper, dredge meat in mixture. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Lightly brown onions and green peppers and remove from oil. Brown meat in remaining oil. Cover meat with onions and green peppers. Cut up tomatoes and add with their liquid to meat. Sprinkle rice into pan.; add broth and water. Mix thoroughly. Bring to a boil, turn heat down, and cover tightly. Simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender, stirring occasionally. To help cut down on cooking time I purchase the tenderized round steak. I also use Minute Rice. : Nutritive value per serving: CHO 21 gm., PRO 30 gm., FAT 22 gm. INGREDIENTS
1 pound rib eye steak
1/4 cup light and dark soy sauce
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 green bell pepper
1 tbsp minced ginger
2 tsp minced garlic
1 1/2 tbsp corn starch
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp steak seasoning
1/2 tsp creole seasoning
pepper to taste
1/2 tsp island vibe seasoning (OPTIONAL)
1 tbsp honey or sugar
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup chicken broth or beef broth
1/45 tsp baking soda
3 tbsp white rice vinegar
1/4 cup water

Steak & Eggs with Creole Sauce: Colombia's Bistec A Caballo
Bistec a Caballo (Steak & Eggs) is one of my nephew's favorite dishes; this is the only thing he orders when we go out to eat at Colombian restaurants which is what inspired me to make the video.
This dish is basically a steak and eggs dish but with a Colombian creole sauce known as Hogao. This dish is commonly made with a thin sirloin steak but many have adopted to use thicker cuts like NY Strips and Rib Eyes.
The heavy carb-loaded dish with fries and rice somehow pairs very well with the eggs and the Hogao. Of course, you can make it heathier by substituting the sides for a salad or broccoli.

3 Ripe Tomatoes Diced
2 green onions finely chopped
1 medium onion diced
3 garlic cloves crushed
1/2 Bundle Chopped Cilantro/Parsley
1 Cube beef bouillon
1 Packet Sazón Goya (1/2tsp Paprika)
1/4 tsp Cumin
Salt and Pepper to taste
4 Eggs (2 servings)
