How To make Favorite Pecan Pie
1/2 c Butter or margarine; melted
1 c Sugar
1 c Light corn syrup
4 Eggs; beaten
1 ts Vanilla extract
1/4 ts Salt
1 Unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
1 c Pecan halves; 1 to 1 1/4
Recipe by: Southern Living
Combine butter, sugar, and corn syrup; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Cool slightly. Add eggs, vanilla, and salt to mixture; mix well. Pour filling into unbaked pastry shell, and top with pecan halves. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes. Serve -----

Hey Guys!!
I’m celebrating the life of Martin Luther King Jr., by making his favorite foods completely vegan and I have the dessert recipe right here.
Ingredients
• ¾ cup of Cane Sugar
• ½ cup of Brown Sugar
• 1 1⁄3 cup of light no high fructose corn syrup
• 4 tbsp of vegan liquid egg mixture
• 3 tbsp of ground flax meal
• 1⁄4cup vegan butter
• 1 tsp vanilla Extract
• ½ tsp of rum extract
• A pinch of salt
• 1 1⁄2cups pecans
• 1 unbaked deep dish pie shell or pie crust
DIRECTIONS
1. In saucepan boil sugars and corn syrup together for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add extracts
2. In large bowl beat liquid vegan eggs and flax meal. slowly pour the syrup mixture into the eggs, stirring constantly. Drop in vegan butter and stir until melted.
3. Add in pecans and pour mixture into pie crust.
4. Bake in a 350°F oven for about 60 minutes or until set.

PECAN PIE RECIPE
Ingredients
Pie Crust
1 2/3 Cup / 200 g Flour
2-3 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Stick / 113g Butter
2-3 Tbsp Ice Water
Pecan Pie Filling
1/4 Cup / 55g Butter, melted
1 1/2 Cups / 300g Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup / 125ml Syrup, corn syrup, glucose syrup , golden syrup
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1/2 tsp Mixed Spice
3 Eggs
2 Cups / 200g Pecans roughly chopped
Instructions
Pie Crust
Add the flour, salt and sugar if using to a large mixing bowl. Cut the butter into small cubes and add to the mixing bowl. Use clean dry hands to rub the butter into the flour until the pieces of butter are no larger than a pea.
Spoon in a few tablespoons of ice water and mix the pastry with a knife. Form the dough into a ball and knead for 30 seconds on a floured surface until smooth.
Wrap the pastry in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to rest.
Pie Filling
In a medium sized mixing bowl combine the butter, sugar, syrup, vanilla and mixed spice.
Crack one egg into the bowl with the other ingredients and mix to combine. Continue with the next two. Adding one egg separately helps to loosen the batter making the next two eggs easier to incorporate.
Roll out your pie crust to 1/2 cm or 1/4 thick. Place the dough into a 9 pie dish and cut off any excess. Use your thumbs and finger or just a fork to decorate the edge of pie crust.
Pour the roughly chopped pecans into the pie dish, followed by the pie filling.
Bake the pecan pie in a 180C / 350F oven for 50-60 minutes or until it only slightly jiggles in the center. Leave the pie to cool completely at room temperature before transferring to the fridge overnight.
To serve the pie cut slices and top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Southern Pecan Pie!! - Homemade Pecan Pie Recipe
Learn how to make homemade southern pecan pie! Uber sweet and loaded with pecans, this is sure to be a favorite on holidays and at family get togethers. And best of all, it's super easy to make!
What you'll need:
4 large eggs
1 cup butter flavored pancake syrup
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
4 Tbsp butter, melted
1 Tbsp flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup pecan halves
9 pastry pie crust
In a large bowl, combine eggs, pancake syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, flour and chopped pecans. Whisk until smooth. Pour into unbaked 9 pastry pie crust. Bake in a preheated 350*F oven for 45-55 minutes or until the center is just set. Watch the last 10 minutes of cooking to make sure pecans and pie don't brown too much and burn. If it's getting dark, tent the pie with a piece of aluminum foil and continue baking until center is just set. When done, remove from oven and let cool for 30 minutes to an hour. Slice and enjoy!
