It is rich and so yummy! now, Before you ask... lol, no it does not taste like vanilla cream. It tastes more like chocolate peanut butter however it is made with #zachary old-fashioned vanilla creme drops. A family favourite, Chocolate Walnut Fudge is a sinful delicacy that’s rich in taste and texture. The chocolatey taste appeals to both young and old alike.
CHOCOLATE WALNUT FUDGE
Ingredients
100 grams dark chocolate, chopped ½ cup chopped walnuts 4 tablespoons unsalted butter 400 grams condensed milk 1 cup khoya/mawa
Method
1. Line a barfi tray with a cling film. 2. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add chocolate and mix continuously till it melts. Add condensed milk and cook for 5-6 minutes or till mixture thickens, stirring continuously. 3. Add walnuts, mix and cook for 1 minute. Add khoya and cook till mixture thickens, stirring continuously. Switch off heat and slightly cool. 4. Transfer the chocolate mixture in the lined tray, spread evenly and tap. Set aside to slightly cool. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or till it semi-sets. 5. Cut into squares and refrigerate again for 1-2 hours or till it sets. 6. Serve.
