QUICHE recipe | GLUTEN FREE | Sweet Potato Crust | BEST Brunch Ideas |
This rectangular Quiche breaks the mold not just because is GLUTEN FREE, made with a delicious Sweet Potato Crust – BUT because is abundant in greens and mushrooms – spicy and SO yummy! ..not your typical round pie!
Ingredients (4-8 servings depending on your hunger )
** All Organic best **
Ingredients
Crust:
2 medium sweet potatoes
Coconut oil
Filling:
12 cups of Mushrooms
14 cups of Spinach
2 TB of Gluten Free Tamari ( Reduced Sodium)
8 large eggs
2 large egg whites
1/2 cup almond milk or any milk of your preference.
1/2 teaspoon Sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne
Topping:
1 cup of GOAT feta cheese (Unpasteurized preferred) crumbled

Savoury Impossible Pie #recipe #baking
Our Protein Packed Impossible Pie is delicious and wholesome. A family-sized dish you can serve anytime, any day - whether it's for main course or a satisfying brunch option. This pie (or quiche, if you will) is jam-packed with protein, lots of flavour and all the goodness your body needs to stay nourished and satisfied . A true crowd-pleaser that is great for your body in every way!
Ingredients
1/3 cup plain flour
1 cup milk
3 eggs 3 egg whites
4 scoops of Tasteless Protein by Feel Good Protein
One bunch of asparagus, lightly blanched in boiling water
1/2 cup feta cheese
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
50 grams of bacon, cubed
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Firstly, start by chopping the bacon into small, tiny cubes. Set it aside for now.
2. Next, chop the asparagus into smaller pieces and blanch them in boiling water until their colour starts to change. Drain and set aside.
3. Preheat your oven to a moderately slow temperature of 160°C. Grease a shallow 23cm round flan dish with oil.
4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the plain flour and milk until smooth. Then, whisk in the eggs to create a creamy base for the pie.
5. Now, it's time to add the star ingredients! Stir in the blanched asparagus, feta cheese, grated cheddar cheese, and the cubed bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together until they are well combined.
6. Pour the mixture into the prepared (oven-safe) dish and make sure the ingredients are distributed evenly.
7. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 1 hour (60 minutes) or until the pie (or quiche) is set. While waiting, enjoy the delightful aroma as it turns golden brown and the flavours meld together perfectly.
8. Once the Protein-Packed Impossible Pie is cooked to perfection, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh chives for an added touch of freshness for flavour and visual appeal. Bon appétit!

Carbs - 8 grams
Protein - 16 grams
Fat - 9 grams
However, adjust the serving size according to the weight of your slice.

CRUSTLESS QUICHE RECIPE
(makes 8 slices)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped (75g)
1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped (50g)
1/2 cup sweet potato, grated (75g)
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated, or any other melting cheese (100g)
5 eggs
1 cup cottage cheese (225g)
1/2 cup milk (120ml)
1 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 cup ground oats, or oat flour (25g)
NUTRITIONAL INFO (per slice):
158 calories, fat 8.6g, carb 7.9g, protein 12.3g
Preparation:
In a greased pan pan (I use 8-inch or 20cm cast iron skillet) layer down all the veggies and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.
In a blender add 5 eggs, cottage cheese, milk, mustard, salt, black pepper, ground nutmeg and ground oats. Blend until really smooth.
Pour the mixture over the veggies and move around with a fork to evenly distrubute the filling.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350F (180C) for 35 minutes.
Let it cool for 20 minutes, then slice into 8 equal pieces.
Serve and enjoy!
