these deep fried hand pies are amazing. cheap to make. recipe below
dough
310ml or 1 and 1/4 cup warm water
1 tea sp salt
2 tea sp dried yeast
1 and 1/2 table sp olive oil
3 cups plain flour
need for 5 mins then rest for 1 hour
need for 2 mins then rest another 1/2 hour
filling
1 table sp olive oil
scoop butter
1 brown onion chopped
2 garlic cloves crushed or 2 heap tea sp minced garlic
300g beef mince
2 cups shredded cabbage
1 sm carrot grated
2 table sp finely chopped dill or 1/2 table sp dry dill
1 tea sp paprika
2 table sp red wine vinigar
2 litres conola or veg oil
tomato sauce or sweet chilli sauce
