How To make Mud Pie2
CRUST:
12 Oreo cookies crushed well
3 tablespoons Butter :
melted
1 quart Coffee ice cream
MUD SAUCE:
1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup Miniature marshmallows
1 cup Evaporated milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
GARNISH:
1 cup Whipping cream whipped
2 ounces Kahlua liqueur
1/4 cup Powdered sugar
1/2 cup Nuts :
chopped
Combine cookie crumbs and butter and press into bottom of buttered 9-10" pie pan. Refrigerate. When chilled, spoon one-half softened ice cream on top of crust. Pour half of Mud Sauce over ice creeam and proceed with another layer of ice cream and top off with the remaining Mud Sauce. Mud Sauce: In medium saucepan, melt the sauce ingredients over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens, adding vanilla after removing sauce from heat. Cool long enough so as to not melt the ice cream while pouring Mud Sauce over it. Top with Garnish and freeze. Garnish: Whip cream, add powdered sugar and Kahlua. Decorate top of Mud Pie with Garnish: Use decorating bag with star or shell tip or spread whipped cream over pie and sprinkle top with finely chopped nuts. Freeze solid.
Ideas: Double the recipe and use a buttered 9 x 13" pan. This should serve 24 persons. If you don't like nuts on top, try chocolate curls. Use a block of chocolate and with a potato peeler, peel the chocolate along one of the edges. Use chocolate at room temperature or else you'll get bits and pieces of shavings.

Betty's Mouth-Watering Milk Chocolate Meringue Pie
Betty demonstrates how to make a Mouth-Watering Milk Chocolate Meringue Pie. This pie is a great choice for almost any occasion.
Mouth-Watering Milk Chocolate Meringue Pie
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1/8 cup cornstarch
1 ½ tablespoons cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
5 ounces milk chocolate chips
2 tablespoons butter
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 recipe uncooked meringue (A video recipe of Betty's Very Best Meringue for Topping Pies is available in Betty's Kitchen, or you may make a meringue using a recipe of your choice.)
1 baked 9-inch pie crust (You will find several recipes for homemade pie crust in Betty's Kitchen, or you may use a pre-made pie crust, baking according to package instructions.)
In a medium-sized saucepan, stir together 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar, 1/8 cup cornstarch, 1 ½ tablespoons cocoa powder, and ¼ teaspoon salt. Add 2 cups milk and stir until dry ingredients are dissolved. Place over medium-high heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. When the mixture comes to a boil, cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened, 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add 5 ounces milk chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons butter, and ½ teaspoon vanilla. Stir until milk chocolate chips and butter melt completely. Cool to room temperature. At this point you may chill the pie filling, if desired. When ready to assemble the pie, pour milk chocolate pudding into baked 9-inch pie crust. Spoon dollops of meringue over the top. Smooth out with a spatula, making a design, if desired. Bake at 325 degrees (F) for about 15 minutes, or until the meringue is golden brown, and a knife inserted into the meringue comes out clean. Remove from oven and set on cooling rack to cool to room temperature. Cover with plastic wrap, using toothpicks to hold the plastic off of the surface of the meringue and chill until pie is completely cool and set—8 hours or longer. Cut into serving pieces and serve on a nice dessert plate. This is a great dessert for the milk chocolate lover! I hope you love it! --Betty ♥

Keto Chocolate Pie Crust
Great Keto Chocolate Pie Crust recipe.
It can be used in so many keto pies.
The possibilities are ENDLESS!!!
I usually have a extra dough and I roll it out and cut out some chocolate cookies????
1 1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup stevia sweetener
1/2 cup softened butter
1 tbsp vanilla
Chocolate Pie
It's chocolate pie folks, what else do I have to say? Although, it is made with tofu and spinach so maybe I have to say a little bit more. A wonderful dessert needn't be bad for you. There are 2 cups of chocolate chips in this recipe so it isn't necessarily a low calorie dessert but there is also a pound of tofu and a cup or two of spinach. I swear, you will not taste either of those ingredients. You will taste chocolate pie though. Here's what you need:
1 pound silkened Tofu, drained
2 cups chocolate chips melted
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 tablespoon honey
1/3 cup Bailey's Irish cream or chocolate liquor (optional)
1 or 2 cups fresh baby spinach
Put all of those ingredients in a vitamix or another excellent blender that will liquefy food and liquefy it. Pour it into a pre-made crust, (I used one made of walnuts), and chill for several hours. Serve with whipped cream and a nice espresso coffee. Make the kids do the dishes while you watch a good movie. You've earned it. You made a wonderful dessert! (Don't tell the kids about the spinach or the tofu)
