1 qt Popped popcorn 1 c Peanuts 3 oz Chow mein noodles 12 oz Chocolate chips Toss popped corn, peanuts, and cm noodles together in lg bowl Set aside. Place choco chips in glass bowl. Microwave on med high for 3 mins. Pour over popcorn mixture. Toss until well mixed. Place spoonfuls of the tossed mixture on wax paper. Cool until firm. Stor in tightly covered container. Makes 24 haystacks.

this recipe is adapted from - The complete book of raw food. Haystacks 3/4 c coconut oil 1/4-1/2 c honey, (to taste) 1/2 c cocoa powder or carob 1 t vanillia extract, or 1/8th of a vanila bean 3 c shredded coconut (more or less as needed)
make coconut oil into liquid, mix all ingredients togethe. (*I use my hands) form into mounds or balls and place onto a lined cookie sheet. I put them into the freezer for about an hour (although they are ready to eat right away. ) and then move them to a sealed glass container in the fridge. Enjoy.

-PREHEAT OVER TO 400 DEGREES -LINE A 14x20 SHEET PAN WITH FOIL AND SPRAY WITH NON-STICK COOKING SPRAY ** you can use parchment paper instead of foil for easier removal of the candy** -LINE PAN WITH CRACKERS IN A SINGLE LAYER -IN A SAUCEPAN, COMBINE BUTTER AND BROWN SUGAR. BRING TO A FULL BOIL. -BOIL FOR 3 MINUTES STIRRING CONSTANTLY. -IMMEDIATELY POUR SAUCE OVER CRACKERS AND SPREAD COMPLETELY. -BAKE CRACKERS AT 400 DEGREES FOR 5 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOFFEE IS BUBBLY. -REMOVE FROM OVEN AND SPRINKLE CHOCOLATE CHIPS OVER CRACKERS. -LET CHOCOLATE SIT FOR 3-4 MINUTES TO MELT. -SPREAD MELTED CHOCOLATE OVER CRACKERS THEN TOP WITH NUTS OR OTHER TOPPINGS. -LET COOL FOR 10-15 MINUTES THEN PUT IN FRIDGE UNTIL COLD AND CHOCOLATE IS SET. -BREAK INTO PIECES.

Popcorn 1/4 cup of vegetable oil 1/2 cup of popping corn 1/2 cup of chopped almonds
Caramel 6 tbsp of butter 1/2 cup of brown sugar 1/2 cup of honey 1/2 tsp of salt 1/2 tsp of baking soda
Christmas Spices 3 1/4 tsp of cinnamon 1 tsp of ginger powder 1/2 tsp of all spice
Instructions: 1. Heat up the oil in a wide pan with low hear 2. Put in some popping corn to test 3. Once the testing corn is popped, put in the rest of your popping corn 4. Close the lid and shake occasionally until all the popping corn is popped 5. In a sauce pan, melt your butter, sugar and honey until homogenous 6. Once bubbling, simmer the mixture for 4 mins 7. Turn off the heat 8. Add in your salt, Christmas spices & baking soda 9. Mix vigorously with a spoon 10. Pour over your popcorn 11. Mix evenly and separate the popcorn into 2 trays 12. Bake in 110c oven for 30mins and toss it around halfway 13. Once baked, let it cool for 10-15mins 14. Break it into smaller chunks 15. Enjoy you crispy & slightly chewy Christmas popcorn ????
