Meditation on Psalms 139 and Jeremiah 29
The central message of this Poetic Video is for the believer to acknowledge how well God knows each of us. From conception, to the thoughts we think and even His own thoughts and plans for us, the Father knows everything there is to know about us and about our situation. Meditating on this principle will strengthen the believer’s faith and carry them through every impossible situation. The key to building faith that prevails is to hide the word in your heart and stand on that word and that promise. In the first part of this Poetic Video, we provide an illustrative interpretation of the words written by the Psalmist, David, and the Prophet Jeremiah. In the second half, our featured reader demonstrated a meditation practice of heartfelt repetition placing emphasis on the words of the scriptures themselves. As the Meditation Poem suggests, the more you read, study and recite the word of God the more it will saturate and penetrate your heart.
This is the second video in the Letthepoetspeak Meditation Series. Pairing the teachings of the prophets with words of the psalms appears to be a natural combination, given the prophets no doubt sang some of these psalms in daily worship. Other videos in this series will feature other well-known psalms with related teachings of the prophets, so look for more readers and more passages and more scriptures to meditate on.
