How To make Strawberry Pound Cake
-JUDI M. PHELPS 4 Eggs
1/2 lb Butter; (do not substitute
-margarine) 1 1/2 c Sugar
2 c All-purpose flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 c Milk
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 c Whipping cream; whipped,
-optional 2 tb Powdered sugar
2 c Strawberries; sliced
Grated orange rind; optional Beat the eggs until foamy. In separate bowl, combine butter and sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Blend in beaten eggs and stir until thoroughly combined. Set aside. Combine flour and baking powder. Sift together 3 times. Gradually add flour mixture alternately with the milk to egg mixture, beginning and ending with flour. Mix until well combined. Stir in vanilla. Lightly oil and flour a 10-inch bundt pan. Pour in cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 to 50 minutes or until a tester inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack. Spoon whipped cream sweetened with powdered sugar into center of ring. Garnish with strawberry slices and orange rind, if desired. Tips: This cake is also good just sprinkled with powdered sugar. Shared and MM by Judi M. Ingredients Used
For the strawberry purée
16oz (1lb) fresh strawberries
For the cake
3 cups all purpose flour
3 sticks salted butter
3 cups sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp strawberry extract
zest of 1 lemon
5 eggs @ room temp
1 cup buttermilk @room temperature
3/4 cup strawberry purée @room temp
A few drops of red food color
For the glaze
2 cups powdered sugar
4 Tbsp fresh strawberry purée
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp strawberry extract
1 Tbsp Heavy whipping cream
Blend strawberries until purée. Remove 4 Tbsp for the glaze and set aside. Bring the remaining purée to a boil and simmer down to about 3/4 cups. Allow to cool completely. Mix and bake cake @325 F for 70-80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out dry! Allow to cool down completely before glazing! Mmmmm… Enjoy!

Start in oven preheated to 325 degrees for 1 hour 10-15 mins

Strawberry 7up Marable Pound Cake recipe:
3 sticks softened salted rm temp
butter
3 cups sugar
5 Lrg eggs
1/3 cup rm temp sour cream
3 cups all purpose flour (sifted)
2/3 cup 7up soda drink
2 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp lemon extract
1tsp vanilla extract
3 tsp strawberry extract
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp lemon zest
Seperately
5 or 6 sliced med size strawberries
well blended into a sauce, add 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp or 2 of sugar,
1/2 tsp of cream of tartar and. Add red food color for color enhancing (optional)
Next
combine half of cake batter into strawberry sauce and fold stir together
Next
Marable combine cake mix in a well greased
tube or fluted cake pan.
Alternate a spoonful of each batter by layers and lightly swirl stir the two of them each layer until both batters are all in the fluted or tube cake pan
Icing:
5 cups powder sugar
2 tbsp melted butter salted
1tbsp milk
2 tbsp 7up soda drink
1 tsp strawberry extract
separate half of icing and add
food coloring (red) to one of them

3 cups of cake flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon os salt, 1pack of vanilla instant pudding the 3 oz box, 2 tablespoons of strawberry jello
Wet ingredients
2 sticks of unsalted butter, 1/2 cup of Crisco stick, 1/2 cup of purée strawberries, 1 cup of butter milk, 5 eggs, 2 teaspoons of vanilla, 3,cups of sugar
Glaze, 1and 1/2 cup of powder sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 2 tablespoons of milk
Bake on 325 for 90 minutes
