How To make White Lasagna
1 pound ground beef
3/4 cup minced onion
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 pound uncooked curly lasagne noodles
Cream Sauce 1 pound ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 pound mozzarella cheese -- sliced
chopped parsley
In a skillet cook the meat, breaking it up with a fork, for 2 minutes. Add the onion, garlic, salt and pepper and cook slowly, stirring often, for 5 minutes, or until the onions are limp. Cook the lasagna noodles as directedon the package, drain well and keep separated on waxed paper. Spread a small amount of Cream Sauce in a shallow baking dish about 13x8x2 inches. Add the remaining Cream Sauce to the meat mixture. Add a layer of noodles to the baking dish, spread with the meat sauce and dot with ricotta cheese. Then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and top with a few slices of mozzarella. Repeat the layers, making 3 layers of each ingredient. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 40 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Let stand for about 5 minutes, then sprinkle with parsley. Makes 8 servings.
CREAM SAUCE: 3 tablespoons butter 3 tablespoons flour 1 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper Dash nutmeg 2 1/2 cups milk 1/3 cup chopped parsley
Melt the butter in a saucepan and blend in the flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then add the milk and cook, stirring, until thickened. Cook, stirring, for about 1 minute longer. Add the parsley.

Ingredients
For the Spinach:
2 tablespoons butter, divided
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 shallot, finely minced (about 1/2 cup)

2 pounds fresh flat or curly spinach leaves, washed and dried
For the Ricotta:

2 large eggs
4 ounces finely grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese

For the White Sauce:
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup flour
1 quart (4 cups) whole milk
12 ounces grated low moisture mozzarella cheese
12 ounces grated Comté, Gruyère, or Emmentaler cheese
For Assembly:
1 1/2 pounds (enough sheets to make 12 layers) fresh lasagna noodles
Lasagna Recipe with Bechamel Sauce

First, cook 12 dried lasagna noodles according to their package directions, draining and rinsing them twice after they're cooked. Lay the noodles in a single layer on a sheet of tin foil. For classic bechamel pasta sauce, mince three cloves of garlic, heating them with three tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add three tablespoons of flour, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Whisk this together, stirring in two cups of milk at once. Cook and stir the sauce until it thickens and bubbles, eventually removing it from the heat to stir in 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Set the sauce aside to make the meat sauce. Combine one cup of onion and two cloves of garlic with 16 ounces of browned ground beef. Drain excess fat, adding a 14 ounce can of diced tomatoes, an 8 ounce can of tomato sauce, one tablespoon of crushed dried Italian seasoning, one teaspoon of crushed fennel seeds, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper. For the ricotta filling, combine one beaten egg, one 15-ounce container of ricotta cheese, and 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan. Assemble the lasagna, and cook it at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes if you have not refrigerated it. This lasagna recipe is so delicious, your family will be begging for this over any other pasta dish!

For meat sauce:
Ground meat 1200g
onion 2 (medium size)
garlic 5 - 7 cloves
olive oil 2-3 tbsp
chopped tomatoes 400g x 3 cans
salt to taste
Red chili powder 1 tsp
black pepper crushed 1 tsp
dried basil 2 tsp
dried oregano 2 tsp
water 4 cup
ingredients for béchamel sauce:
butter 70g
All-purpose flour 4 tbsp
milk 800ml
salt 1 tsp
nutmeg 1/2 tsp
for layers you need:
Chopped tomatoes 1 can (400g)
olive oil 3 tsp
No-boil lasagna noodles 600g (approximately)
fresh mozzarella 700g
Fresh herbs parsley or basil leaves
parmigiano reggiano
edam cheese
