Halloween Ground Mystery Meat Treats
How to make realistic ground meat packages using Rice Krispies Treats!
Here is a link to a few of the labels I have saved.
Treats: 6 cups rice krispies cereal 16 oz marshmallows 2 tbsp butter 2 tsp vanilla extract or 2 tbsp peanut butter red food colour
Place marshmallows and butter in a large bowl and microwave for 1-2 minutes until marshmallows are puffy and melted. You can also do this in a large pot on the stove set to low-medium. Stir in vanilla extract and/or peanut butter. Stir until smooth. Stir in enough red food colour to get a nice shade of bloody. Stir in rice krispies treats. If your rice krispies treats start to harden up before you are ready, pop the bowl back into the microwave for a few seconds to soften.
Fake edible blood: Dark corn syrup red food colour chocolate syrup
Mix 2 tbsp of corn syrup with some red food colour and add in about 1 tsp of chocolate syrup.
Idea found here: Avery label maker website: You just have to enter in your label number (even the off-brand labels will sometimes provide an Avery number) and you can edit the labels very easily.
