Recipes:
Sweet & Salty crispy tofu marinade:
1 block of extra firm tofu
2 tbsp tamari (soy sauce or braggs works too)
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp spicy brown mustard
1/2 tsp hot sauce
1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
BBQ & Pineapple tofu marinade:
1 block of extra firm tofu
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1-2 tbsp pineapple juice
4 pineapple rings
Buffalo Sauce tofu marinade:
1 block of extra firm tofu
1/4-1/3 cup buffalo sauce
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F (convection oven works best - or use an air fryer!) and have a non stick baking sheet ready.
1. Drain and pat dry extra firm tofu. If the tofu is think, cut in half lengthwise.
2. On one side of the tofu, score it in a criss cross pattern (watch the video for details).
3. Marinade tofu in a small dish with marinade of choice, making sure to get marinade in the cuts on the tofu. Flip the tofu over and marinade other side.
4. Place tofu (scored side up) on a non stick baking sheet.
5. Bake for proxy 40-45 minutes (check after 30-35 minutes to make sure its cooking well and not burning!) or until golden brown and crispy on top. Remove from oven and enjoy!

HOW TO MAKE GRILLED TOFU AND VEGETABLES

Ingredients
Tofu 400 grms
5 Sweet Peppers(Shimla Mirchi)
Onion 1 No
Curd 200 grms
Chilly powder 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Salt to Taste
Kolambu Masala(Curry Powder) 1/4 tsp
Little oil
Preparation Time:
Time for cutting the vegetables 15 minutes.. Cooking Time 15 to 20 minutes Total time 30 minutes
Method
1.Cut the Tofu into cubes.
2.Cut it sweet peppers into big square pieces.
3.Cut Onion into 8 pieces.
4.Now take a bowl add Curd,
Chilly powder,
Ginger garlic paste,
Salt to Taste and
Kolambu masala(Curry Masala)(optional add if you like it.
5.Mix everything together.
6.Add the cut Tofu and Vegetables and mix it.
7. Marinate the mixture for 2 hours.
8.Add Little oil in pan.
9.Heat Oil and grill the mixed Tofu and Vegetables.
10.Cook till done
11.Tasty Tofu ready
12.Served best with Mint Chutney.
