How to make homemade Baileys Irish Cream. Youll be surprised how quick and easy this recipe is to follow. If you have any questions please leave me a comment and I will reply ASAP.
SERVINGS: Makes: 1 Litre or 33 fl oz (US). Serves: 2-6 people.
INGREDIENTS: • 1 can (397g/14oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk. • 1 tsp Instant Coffee Granules. • 1 tsp Warm Water. • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract. • 2 tbsps Chocolate Sauce (see below for another option). • 1 cup + 2 tbsps (284ml/9.6 fl oz) Single/ Double/Heavy Cream . • 1½ cups (350ml/11.8 fl oz) Whiskey (I used Jameson).
METHOD:
1. Mix the coffee granules and warm water together until granules are dissolved. 2. Add condensed milk, dissolved coffee, vanilla extract, chocolate sauce and cream to a medium-size bowl and mix on high for about 20 to 30 seconds. 3. Add the whiskey and mix once more until combined. 4. Pour into a sterilised bottle or container and seal. 5. Store in the fridge. 6. Shake well before serving. 7. Mmm Scrummy!!
STORAGE: • Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
TIPS: If you don’t have a chocolate sauce you can quickly make your own:-
• Use 1 tsp of cocoa powder. • Dissolved in 2 tsp of cream or water. • Stir well together before adding to the mixture.
I use Askeys Treat Chocolate Flavoured Topping.
