How To make Mom's Best Meatloaf
1 1/2 pounds Ground beef
lean
1 cup Milk
1 Egg :
slightly beaten
3/4 cup Soft bread crumbs
1 medium Onion chopped fine
1 tablespoon Green pepper :
chopped fine
1 tablespoon Ketchup
1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
1 teaspoon Prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Allspice -- ground
1 teaspoon Dill weed
Additional ketchup
In lge. bowl, combine first 12 ingreds.; mix well. Press into 8 x 1 x 2" loaf pan. Bake at 350~ for 1 hr. Drizzle top of loaf with ketchup; bake 15 min. more or until no pink remains.

INGREDIENTS
2 lbs 85/15 ground beef
1 envelope of beefy onion soup mix
1 sleeve of Ritz crackers
1/4 of a medium-sized bell pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/4 cup ketchup
2 Tbsp fresh parsley
1 tsp cracked black pepper
2 large eggs
1/2 cup whole milk
SAUCE
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup A-1 steak sauce
2 Tbsp dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp diced chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
1/4 tsp cracked black pepper

BEST HOMEMADE CLASSIC MEATLOAF
INGREDIENTS
2 Lbs. Ground Beef (85/15)
1 Large Onion (chopped)
1 Tbsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Black Pepper
1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
1 Cup Ketchup (into meat mixture)
2 ½ Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
2 Eggs
1 Cup Seasoned Breadcrumbs (oats, bread, crackers whatever you have on hand)
Nonstick Cooking Spray
Top with more ketchup (as much as you like)
DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
In a bowl, mix all ingredients together. Gently fold ingredients together, but do not over mix.
In an 8 x 10 baking dish or pan, lightly coat with nonstick cooking spray.
Form the meat mixture into baking dish or pan. Leaving room around the edges of the pan. Top with as much ketchup as you like.
Place in pre-heated oven and bake uncovered for about 1 hour depending on your oven.
You need to let the meatloaf sit and cool for about 20 minutes before slicing and serving.
That’s it, you have a classic homemade meatloaf everyone will enjoy!
Mom's Meatloaf: the best you'll have!
MOM'S MEATLOAF
1.5-2 lb ground beef (I like 85% to 15%)
2/3 cup cornflake crumbs
1/4-1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/4-1/2 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
black pepper (season to taste)
Mix together and put in a greased baking pan (the kind that you would bake a loaf of bread in). Before baking mix 1-1.5 cup of tomato sauce (enough to completely cover the meatloaf) and 1/3-2/3 cup brown sugar. Pour this over the top of your meatloaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. Place a baking sheet underneath to catch any juice overflow. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Check the inside to make sure it's completely done. Let sit about 10 min before serving.
I love to serve this with corn and scalloped or mashed potatoes.
